Job Description

Are you looking for a fun, rewarding, and lucrative position in the luxury vacation rental industry? You found it! We are looking for a Project Manager for the Luxury Vacation and Real Estate division of our company to work with our executive staff to oversee the organization.

This position is based in Encinitas/Del Mar area. This is a full-time 40+ hour per week position for those who are not afraid to work hard, and includes health insurance and paid flex time (vacation/sick time).

This is NOT a work-from-home position.

The salary is $60k/yr - $140k/yr depending on experience and includes up to 50% performance bonus once fully trained based on successfully achieving goals and or discretionary awards.

About You

  • You are an independent “self-starter” with an uncanny attention to detail, ability to prioritize and completely follow-through to absolute completion on tasks and meet deadlines when needed. Since you are interfacing with the other divisions of the company, customers and vendors in a leadership capacity, you possess the ability to communicate in a warm, engaging, and encouraging manner with charm and a sense of humor.
  • You are high-energy, outgoing, personable, friendly, engaging, with a sense of humor
  • You are a hard-worker with high expectations
  • You are well-spoken with advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Your report to the President and assist him with his responsibilities (email, phone, decision-making, etc) through delegation
  • You are comfortable maintaining a high-profile position as the ‘go-to’ resource for other managers in need of help and direction.
  • You are comfortable with numbers
  • You oversee communication with company divisions – sales, marketing, operations, customer service, and human resources.
  • You coordinate monthly financial performance reports for review from accounting
  • You have a strong sense of creativity, initiative, and follow-through to see tasks and processes are completed successfully.
  • You have experience running small projects, including planning, documenting, communicating, and leading project teams.
  • You are comfortable wearing many hats of a small but rapidly growing business, including sales, marketing, operations, and HR.
  • You enjoy balancing your day between routine (daily, weekly, and monthly processes) and projects (each day there something new and different).
  • You are comfortable with change

Qualifications: History of successful work experience

  • Possess independent “self-starter” skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines
  • A college degree is highly desirable but not necessary if equivalent work experience and strong leadership skills
  • Possess analytical thinking skills, outstanding written and verbal skills
  • Accomplished written and spoken communicator.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and browser apps
  • Valid Driver’s License
