Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Housekeeper to maintain high cleanliness standards across guest rooms and common areas. The Mid-Level Housekeeper is responsible for performing detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while ensuring quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction. This role may also assist in training new team members and supporting housekeeping operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and public areas to company standards

• Perform detailed cleaning, including deep-clean assignments as scheduled

• Change linens, make beds to presentation standards, and replenish amenities

• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, damages, and maintenance issues

• Report maintenance needs, lost-and-found items, and safety concerns promptly

• Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment

• Maintain housekeeping carts and ensure supplies are fully stocked

• Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining quality standards

• Provide courteous and professional interactions with guests

• Assist with training entry-level housekeepers as needed

• Follow all safety and sanitation policies

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of housekeeping experience (hotel, resort, or vacation rental preferred)

• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods

• Ability to lift 25–40 pounds regularly

• Ability to push and pull loaded housekeeping carts
