Commitment Period
How long do I need to commit my property to the program?
KBM Resorts Vacation Rental program requires a commitment of 12 months. For the Red Cross program exclusively, the commitment is required through May 31, 2024 and in March 2024, there will be the opportunity to extend this commitment 2, 4 or 6 more months.
Tax Implications
Governor Green proposed a property tax credit - will I benefit?
The Governor proposed a tax credit to any homeowner who makes their home available to a displaced fire family with contiguous occupancy between February 1, 2024 to February 1, 2025.
As of 12-9-2023, no legislation has been approved, so technically there are no tax benefits at this time.
