Fall Festivities 

Visiting during the Fall can be made even more spook-tacular when you visit for Halloween. Park City offers an array of family-friendly Halloween events and activities that will delight and haunt all!

-Park City Ghost Tours: Explore the haunted history of Park City with a guided ghost tour! Wander through the historic Main Street and listen to eerie tales of the past that will send shivers down your spine-if you dare.

-Halloween on Main: Join the community for a family-friendly Halloween celebration on Main Street. Enjoy trick-or-treating, costume contests (for dogs too!), and live entertainment as you soak in the festive atmosphere.

-Historic Glenwood Cemetery Tours: The Park City Museum will be hosting its annual Glenwood Cemetery Event with Ghosts this October! Park City’s rich history will come alive through reenactors and ghosts in costume standing at various gravesites discussing life and death in the old historic mining town.

Haunted House at the Park City Library: Experience a family friendly haunted house attraction like no other! Taking place at the Park City Library, you will be in the holiday spirit after you see the spooky decorations around the library that transform it into a frighteningly cute attraction.

Don’t miss local pumpkin patches where you can select the perfect gourd, participate in hayrides, and enjoy autumn-themed activities. It’s a great way to get into the spirit of Fall! The majority of Utah County's fall celebrations begin in late September and run through early November.  

-Cornbelly’s: Thanksgiving Point’s corn maze is one of the most popular in Utah with 55+ attractions and includes a separate haunted section (ages 12+).

-Heehaw Farms: Located in Pleasant Grove, Heehaw Farms offers their Annual Giant Pumpkin Drop, corn maze, pick-your-own pumpkin patch, trick-or-treat hayride, and more.

-Glen Ray's Corn Maze: Wander through a 7-acre jack-o-lantern corn maze with interactive activities or a haunted corn maze and have fun around this Spanish Fork festival!

-Wilkerson Farm: This Orem farm has 5 acres of corn mazes, rides, food, and a number of decorative pumpkin varieties that can be purchased at the farm.

Go apple picking, or indulge in the freshly harvested fruit! Check out these local farms for freshly picked local fruits in the Park City region.

-Allred Orchards - High-quality peaches and apples in many varieties can be found as this Provo orchard.

-McMullin Orchards - Find peaches, pears, cherries, and apples at this orchard in Payson.

-Crandall’s Fruit Farm - Along with apples, some other fall things worth visiting this Orem farm for are pumpkins, honey, and peaches.

Christmas Winter Wonderland

As December approaches and snow begins to blanket the mountains, Park City transforms into a winter wonderland! The holiday spirit is palpable, and there are countless activities to fill your days with joy and cheer during the winter season. - Torchlight Christmas Parade: Celebrate the season at this annual Deer Valley tradition. The Torchlight Parade will be held at approximately 5:30 p.m. (dusk) on Big Stick ski run on Bald Eagle Mountain, behind Snow Park Lodge. You can look forward to local carolers, complimentary hot chocolate, cider and cookies will be served on the Snow Park plaza from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. 

- Lighting of the Tree Ceremony: Join the community for the ceremonial lighting of the town tree in Historic Park City. This is a great event for the whole family to get into the holiday spirit with live music, craft sales, and fireworks to top it off. Of course, Santa will be available for photos as well! This heartfelt event marks the beginning of the holiday season with music, hot cocoa, and joyful celebrations.

-Snow Globe Stroll: The Snow Globe Stroll features seven life-size snow globes, each themed around different holiday songs including “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” “Frosty the Snowman,” “Winter Wonderland,” “Let It Snow!,” and more! Passersby can enjoy festive holiday decorations including Santa’s mailbox and the stunning Main Street Christmas tree.

-Christkindlmarkt Christmas Market: This spectacular event is inspired by the world famous German Christmas markets. Christkindlmarkt offers a unique holiday shopping and cultural experience for the whole family with unique gifts, handmade crafts, delicious treats, drinks, and festive holiday entertainment as you stroll through wooden vendor booths!

-The North Pole Express at Heber Valley Railroad: All aboard the Polar Express! Be sure to hop on the Heber Valley Railroad for their special North Pole Express train ride. The trip lasts 90 minutes and offers all passengers hot cocoa, cookies, a souvenir ticket, and a special gift from Santa!
