Question 1

Where can I stay in Ko Olina with KBM Resorts?

Accepted Answer

Beach Villas at Ko Olina (92-106 Waialii Place, Kapolei) is KBM Resorts' Ko Olina resort. Open the resort page to see the units available for your dates and each unit's bedrooms, view and amenities.

Question 2

What is there to do at Beach Villas at Ko Olina?

Accepted Answer

KBM's resort description for Beach Villas at Ko Olina lists four lagoons with expansive sandy beaches, landscaped pools and spas, a championship golf course that hosts the LPGA Lotte Championship, and catamaran cruises to see dolphins and whales.

Question 3

Does KBM Resorts have vacation rentals near Kailua Beach or in Honolulu?

Accepted Answer

Ko Olina is on Oahu's leeward coast, while Kailua Beach is on the windward side of the island, and KBM Resorts does not currently list rentals in Kailua. KBM's Honolulu-area resort is Ilikai Hotel & Luxury Suites in Waikiki; see the Waikiki page for those units.

Question 4

What is the best area to stay in Oahu?

Accepted Answer

Ko Olina on Oahu's west shore is the top choice for luxury vacation rentals. The four man-made lagoons at Ko Olina provide calm, protected swimming — ideal for families with children or anyone who wants ocean access without strong surf. The area is home to Disney's Aulani Resort, the Four Seasons, and the Marriott Ko Olina, all sharing the same lagoon system as KBM properties. Waikiki is Oahu's most iconic destination, offering the famous beach, world-class surfing, and a walkable hub of dining, shopping, and nightlife. The North Shore is the choice for surf enthusiasts and anyone seeking an authentic local experience away from the resort corridor. KBM Oahu properties are concentrated in Ko Olina, offering the best balance of luxury, beach access, and family friendliness.

Question 5

Do Oahu vacation rentals include a rental car?

Accepted Answer

Yes — KBM Resorts includes a complimentary rental car on qualifying Oahu stays, making it easy to explore the entire island beyond the Ko Olina resort area. With a car you can drive to the North Shore to watch professional surfers at Banzai Pipeline, hike the Diamond Head crater trail, visit Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial, explore the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, and sample shaved ice at the legendary Matsumoto's in Haleiwa. Oahu's freeway and highway system makes the full island accessible within 60–90 minutes from Ko Olina. Without a car, guests are effectively limited to the resort area. Contact KBM concierge to confirm rental car inclusion for your specific property and booking dates.

Question 6

When is the best time to visit Oahu?

Accepted Answer

Oahu is a year-round destination with temperatures that stay between 75 and 85 degrees in every season. The true sweet spots for balancing weather, value, and fewer crowds are April through June and September through November. Summer from late June through August is the peak family season, filling Ko Olina and Waikiki with visitors from the mainland and Japan. Winter from December through February brings the highest surf on the North Shore, attracting pro surfers and spectators to events like the Triple Crown of Surfing. The Christmas and New Year window is the most expensive and crowded period of the year. If your goal is excellent weather at a lower rate with manageable crowds, book in May or October for the best overall experience.

Question 7

What is included with a KBM Oahu vacation rental?

Accepted Answer

All KBM Oahu vacation rentals include dedicated concierge service from the moment you book through your checkout day, premium resort-quality furnishings and linens, a fully equipped kitchen, and complimentary rental car on qualifying stays. Ko Olina properties include access to the resort lagoons, shared pools, fitness centers, and on-site restaurants including the Monkeypod Kitchen and Four Seasons dining. Your KBM concierge arranges Pearl Harbor tours, luau reservations, snorkeling trips, surfing lessons, and helicopter tours of the island. Unlike booking through an OTA platform, KBM guests have a direct concierge line available throughout their stay for any question or request. All rates are all-inclusive of amenities with no resort fee surprises at checkout.
