Honua Kai HKK-104/08/12

We stayed on the ground floor. It was gorgeous! We were steps from the pools. A short walk to the beach. There were boogy boards, cooler, and beach chairs in the room. That made our stay so much nicer. AC kept our whole area cool. Our room slept 8. We had 6 adults and 2 young children in our room and everyone was comfortable.

Easy walk to pools and beach. Roomy, affordable. Felt like home, didn’t want to leave.

Perfect ground floor for three generation family vacation. The pool was just perfect for the kids and we thoroughly enjoyed the beach walk. Would highly recommend!

We loved our condo. It's very spacious, comfortable and great location on the ground floor with direct access outside. We were a party of 8 (4 adults + 4 kids). It had beach chairs and kids beach toys.

The property is absolutely gorgeous. The pools and hot tubs are perfect and so fun for kids. The beach access is so nice. The rooms are clean and quiet and huge. Lots of amenities. Loved having the ability to do our laundry and cook. Everyone is so nice and helpful. We can’t wait to return!

This place is the best place to stay in Maui. Property is very convenient in restaurants and store. Villas are equipped with all the things that you need. Beach is just a step away and pools are great for all ages. Highly recommended.

We had an excellent experience during our stay at KBM resorts on Maui. The facilities were excellent, the proximity to the beautiful beach was outstanding, and the room was great!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honua Kai. The unit was clean, large and comfortable. We loved the amenities, easy first floor access, and convenience of this condo. It was a perfect stay. The property management is very communicative and checks on us periodically. We would love to be back in this unit and location in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at Honua Kai, and HKK-104 was amazing! We loved that it was ground level (we have young kids), and opened up to the beautiful grassy area in the back. Customer service/reservations team was very responsive whenever we had needs or issues that arose (for example, the dishwasher wasn't working, so they had someone wash dishes once & provided us with paper plates/plastic utensils, etc. until they were able to replace the dishwasher a couple of days later). We had a great experience and would love to come back!!

We have stayed here multiple times in the past. This time we decided to try some place different, it was terrible and uncomfortable for our family. Even though we paid to stay at the other place we forfeited that money and paid to come here for the remainder of our trip. Best place to stay on the island!!! We will come back again and again!

Overall, this was a great place for my family of 6 with three teenagers and 22 y.o. Having 3 King beds was priceless as well as ground floor access. The large ground-level lanai added so much space. Having beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and a cooler was also a huge plus.

What a great place for our family of 5. This unit was an easy walk to the pool and we liked how close it was to the elevator. We had a son still recovering from knee surgery so distance was important for us. We were able to park in the parking garage, ride up the one floor and have a short walk to room. I would say this unit it perfect for anyone with mobility issues. The resort is great for families of all age ranges. Kids and adults have many pools to choose from. Can’t wait to come back!

I wholeheartedly recommend this place! My family and I had an amazing time. The location is ideally situated near grocery stores, restaurants, car rental services, and surfing gear rentals. We will absolutely be coming back!

This was our first trip to Maui and we will definitely be back. We were very happy with the accommodations, the rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable, there was more than enough space for our family of 5. The Complimentary Valet was a nice touch, we had help bringing all our belongings into our room when we arrived, which was super helpful! The unit came with beach chairs, an umbrella, cooler and boogy board, which all got used throughout our stay. The kind size bunk beds came in handy for the kids, there was no fighting for space, my two boys shared the top bunk and daughter slept on the bottom. The pools were great, and access to the beach and boardwalk was so perfect! We visited Dukes twice on our trip and enjoyed it both times. Overall it was an excellent trip and we hope to make it back!

Family of 4 with kids aged 9 & 11. Ideal beach and resort. Fun for all of us. The restaurant Dukes felt a step above the usual resort food. The resort is a bit crowded but that’s Maui over a holiday. Loved it.

This unit is a great location in Honua Kai. We loved the den with queen/king bunks for my 2 teenagers. Ground floor was great because using the patio door was a nice option when heading to pool/beach. Close but not immediately next to elevator to parking garage was also handy. We always enjoy the beach amenities provided by KBM. Umbrellas, chairs and coolers were in very good working order. Another great stay at Honua Kai with KBM! We’ve always had a great experience with KBM and can’t wait to book with them on our next stay!

We had a wonderful vacation with our three kids. Unit was the perfect location to easily access all the amenities in Honua Kai - general store, gym, spa, pool. Included beach chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys which was amazing.

The units were luxurious and also allowed us to make customized meals our family loved with a full kitchen and outdoor dining. All of the KBM team was helpful on every level. I highly recommend spending your time in Hawaii at KBM Hona Kai resort!

This is our second time staying at the Honua Kai. Both times we have been on the floor units, and those are the best! Grassy patios, 5 stars for us! Easy access to get in and out and about to pool or beach, and feels more natural when we are chillin on the patio. Our unit had a HUGE bunk bed! I guess I wasn't paying attention to the bunk bed size, as much as how awesome it is to have a separate room for the kids! The location of the property is great for families. You can live kinda like you would at home with the amenities in the units, but still feel on vaca when you head to Duke's for the live music and great food. Booking was easy, we had lots of updates on codes and access and checking in on us when we arrived etc. I had asked them if they had any recommendations for family photographers while on the island. Someone contacted me a lot quicker than I would have thought! Safe, clean, and everyone is very friendly. We will stay here on our next trip!

had a fantastic experience overall. KBM provided clear information with lots of accurate pics of the unit before booking. we chose to pay with credit card, but they are legit so may pay with bank transfer to save some $ next time. pre and during stay the communication was excellent. the unit was spotless, beautiful and just as described. all the included packages/amenities were accurate as well- loccitane toiletries, fully stocked with paper towels/tissue / dishwashing and laundry pods. we will book with KBM again. about honua kai, this was our second stay, we love the resort complex with many pools, great location and beach access. the first floor unit was great for easy in and out, also right beside entrances to building and elevator but no noise at all. dont hesitate to book!

The unit is located near the Elevator and the Gym. Ground floor with a gorgeous lanai, the couch isn't comfortable for more than one person but again, it was okay.

Great spot! Very clean and plenty roomy for 4-5 people. Immaculately clean with comfy beds. Loved our little outdoor space. Pools were packed but hey, that?s Spring Break. :)

A++ Service

Great location - easy access to the lobby, pools, beach, grass area, fitness center. Ground floor allowed kids to play in the grass area while we prepared meals and got things ready for the day. We had friend at Holukani - and kids were able to easily meet and play in between buildings. We did not witness any loud noise or traffic given the location. All rooms were spacious and clean, and plenty of cleaning amenities were provided. Rental car was convenient and we had no issues. Would rebook again!

We actually rented three units as there were ten family members on vacation, including grandchildren who enjoyed the resort immensely.

We had the best time at this condo! We’ve stayed in other units previously but appreciated the kid friendly dishes and amenities that made mealtime easier with the whole family. Size was perfect for a family of four. The location of this unit is so convenient for everything - the pools, Duke’s, the little market, walking the grounds, etc. It’s right next to the gym and elevator but the noise never woke us up or bothered us. It was actually really nice not having to worry about my kids’ ruckus. Being on the ground level meant the kids could safely play outside while we got ourselves ready. Overall, 10/10! We would look to stay here again if we ever return to Honua Kai!

From the start with the communication, it was wonderful. Close to the pools and beach on the 1st floor. It was like we were the only ones there, not loud or busy with lots of people. We needed to stay an extra day and it was so easy. First time staying here with my family ages 10-16 and we all loved it!! Will definitely come back again.

112 is an incredible room with great access to the property. The back patio is quiet with perfect access to a path that leads to the pools (3 minute walk) and Duke's (less than 5 minutes). The rooms are comfy and my family of 5 felt right at home. The fitness center is just outside the front door and the hotel's store (coffee shop, gifts and groceries) is perfectly located less than 1 minute walk from the room). We had other family members who rented 113, which was right across the hall and it allowed all of us to spend time together conveniently.
