Honua Kai HKK-451 Is an amazing unit, and we had an absolute blast. The unit was beautiful, the property was in great shape and everyone was helpful, from the bellman to the resort staff. Our family will definitely be coming back again!

Our family absolutely loved our stay at Honua Kai HKK-451. The resort was beyond our expectations with manicured grounds and immaculate pool areas. The KKK-451 condo was clean, beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was well equipped. Perfect for families as there were a booster seat, pack & play, beach chairs, coolers and sand toys for us to use. It has large gathering areas inside and out with expansive views of the ocean where we saw many whales. We have been to Maui several times and we will return to Honua Kai on our next visit.

Just returned from my 5th week in this unit - so great for the soul. The lanai looks directly at the ocean making whale watching an every day event. Tranquil views of the resort in the evening are beautiful. The condo is well stocked with everything you need for this home away from home. The KBM staff is very proactive with information you need and quickly responds to any requests. I highly recommend KBM and this condo!

We could not have chosen a more perfect place for our extended family vacation. The condo was prefect and so was the resort. Also, it was close to many beaches and attractions.

The Honua Kai 3 bedroom lanai units with BBQs are wonderful. They are well equipped and beautifully decorated. The KBM Guest Services Team are readily available to address any issues in a prompt and friendly manner. This is our 4th stay here in a couple of years, and we will continue to use these condos for our Maui home away from home!! KBM team is a great team to work with to ensure a perfect Maui get away!

We had an amazing stay at the Honua Kai. The building and the suite are both in excellent condition, very clean and well maintained. The suite itself lives up to the photos online and provided plenty of room for our family of 3 adults and 2 teens. The location cannot be beaten and I'm going to miss watching the whales breaching every morning with my breakfast! From check-in through to the end of our stay the staff at KBM were prompt, professional and a pleasure to deal with. When we checked in the ice maker in the fridge was not working but the KBM team were quick to repair the issue with no fuss. When our flight home was first delayed and then cancelled entirely the KBM staff were quick to arrange for a late check out and then an extension. Thanks very much KBM for a wonderful experience and we look forward to booking with you again next year!

We came with our family to renew our wedding vows on our 40th anniversary! We were so impressed with the beauty of the resort and the amazing staff that made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived right up to the moment we had to leave! Everyone was pleasant and helpful wherever we went in the resort! We hope to return again soon and we will certainly recommend Honua Kai resort (especially HKK-450) to all of our friends and family! This condo was amazing! The best part was the amazing patio with a beautiful view of the beach! Sunsets each night, and wonderful views of the ocean and pools. We stayed in Tower two and it was a nice facility. Great location with nice pool access and ocean access. Outdoor grills were used several times and clean.

Place was clean and updated. Patio was perfect. Beautiful location. Pool area was very nice. Loved the beach and was surprised the snorkeling was so good at the resort. Saw a lot of sea turtles. Dukes restaurant was excellent. Kbm did a great job with the information for check in and check out.

The room was very nice with a great view. We had a 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom unit. It was nicely appointed with luxury furnishings. Loved all the pools and hot tubs! Valet and bell service a great amenity! Definitely go back and stay longer next time!

This was our 3rd family visit to Hawaii, but our first to Maui. We were blown away by the initial arrival to the property at Honua Kai, and the beauty of the greenery and flowers on the property. We were met by a host of gentlemen to grab our luggage, as well as valet our vehicle if we so desired. However, there was designated parking in the parking garage for our particular unit, and only 20 steps to a nearby elevator to take us up to our floor. We entered the unit to find the cleanest, and most spectacular view to the courtyard, the amazing pools, and a majestic view of the Ocean. The lanai was huge, which had sliding doors that opened from both the living/dining area, as well as our master suite. There was plenty of seating on the lanai for all of us to enjoy. The unit had essentially, 2 master suites and bathrooms, as well as a large 3rd bedroom with its own large bathroom across the hall. The dining table was huge. The family room had a large couch and two comfortable chairs, for all to relax. The kitchen was large with a full fridge and freezer, 2 ovens, a microwave, as well as a large cooktop. The towel service for the beach and pools was awesome! You entered your room key code, grabbed however many towels you needed, and retuned them back to the machine before going back to your room, to prevent excessive sand in the condo. Since we were here in the middle of March, the whales put on a spectacular show daily from our property. This was clearly a 5 star resort and experience. The location was perfect. 5 minutes to amazing restaurants and shopping, in one direction and 5 minutes to Kapalua in the opposite direction. We will be back to Honua Kai, and always contact KBM for our next Hawaiian vacation. Thank you KBM for always being available and attentive to all of our needs, even though they were few and far between. Aloha!!!!

We have stayed in this property several times. KBM was great to work with as well our unit had all of the beach gear you would need and reserved parking spots in the garage. Check in was easy and when we needed more toiletries we got more than enough. We will be back!

The property is everything that is described!! One on my best vacations to date!! From the bell hop to valet, the pools, hot tubs, Duke’s restaurant, and the beach!! It was amazingly beautiful, clean, friendly, and awesome for families or friends doing a group trip. Our condo had everything you would need!! It was clean and fully functional for 6 people without feeling over crowded!! The beach was literally in our backyard!! All your beach needs were supplied in the condo from coolers to chairs and umbrellas!! We will be back!!

We stayed here with 3 adults and 3 kids and had a wonderful stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was easy to cook in, the views were spectacular, the pools were fun, and the beach was perfect. My favorite thing was the coral reef that runs the length of the beach. There were tons of fish and it was an easy swim for me and two kids ages 8 & 12. Not too much current or waves. Very clear water.

I've previously rented on Maui through VRBO and Maui Rentals, but this was my first experience with KBM—and it definitely won’t be my last. Their communication was excellent before, during, and after our stay. The unit was exactly as described and photographed, and everything went smoothly with KBM. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent directly through them again. As for unit HKK-449, it was fantastic. Recently updated, it's located near the front of the building on the 4th floor. While the view of the ocean is partially obstructed by palm trees near the pool, the unit itself is extremely spacious. The master bedroom and bathroom are almost excessively large, and the second bedroom also features an en suite bath. The third bedroom is paired with a massive detached bathroom. This unit is in the older of the two towers, which turned out to be a plus—it offers more space than the units in the newer tower we've stayed in before. Two important things to consider when booking a condo on Maui are proximity to the elevator and the trash chute. This unit is ideally located—not too far from the elevator for convenience, but far enough that you don’t hear foot traffic. It's also well away from the trash chute, which is critical. As of late July 2025, the unit came well stocked with beach gear: 6 chairs, 3 umbrellas, a cooler, 3 high-quality boogie boards, sand toys, an air mattress, and a pack and play. KBM also had a promotion that included a rental car for stays over six nights, and that process was completely hassle-free. All in all, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this unit again or to book with KBM for future trips. Highly recommended.

We loved everything about our stay at Honua Kai! The condo was beautiful and well stocked. The staff was so friendly. The pools are awesome, there are a ton of hot tubs, and we were steps away from the beach.

If you're traveling with children under 10, I would highly recommend this hotel and unit. The room is spacious, and the hotel has three pools for kids and beachfront access. The kids package with beach toys, boogie boards, and beach chairs are perfect for your beach outings.

Our family was so comfortable in Honua Kai 449! The bedrooms were large, the kitchen well stocked and the living room was a great gathering place for the 9 year old up to the 50 year old! We had the best time!

Six of us shared a 3 bedroom condo. Good location and facilities. Good support from KBM.

This spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bath was perfect for our family of 5. The 2 en-suite BR’s have independent temp control. Kitchen has all necessary pots.pans, etc. appliances are all nice, including DW and washer/dryer. The large balcony overlooks the quiet pool with a partial beach view. In January, the balcony gets full sun from 9am to 4 pm. The unit is located away from the trash chute and elevator so it’s very quiet. Communication with KBM was great throughout. The building has a small grocery in the lobby with all you might need. Larger grocery store is a 10 min walk. Overall, I would recommend this unit with no hesitation.

This was definitely a luxury stay. We have a family of 7 and we fit really comfortably. We also happened to be in Hawaii during major flooding and were unable to go anywhere much. We were so glad we were at a nice place so we could enjoy our time together without being too on top of each other. We used all the amenities from the gym to the pools and hot tubs over and over. Our kids did not want to leave.
