Honua Kai HKK-816/20/25/29

KBM was a wonderful company to work with to book our recent trip to Maui. We would go through them again for future trips. We also enjoyed our stay at Honua Kai. It's a beautiful resort in a great location with all the amenities you need. The unit 829 that we stayed in fit our family well and we loved the views! Morning coffee doesn't get better with a view like that from the 8th floor. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms were nice with powerful shower heads. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next trip to Maui!

Honua Kai was a great resort for families! Beautiful, clean and fun!

Unit and resort are great. What a view each morning to look at. Kitchen is a full gourmet with high end appliances.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at the KBM RESORT! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a big smile and everyone eager to assist. The apartment was clean, the kitchen had all the appliances and cooking utensils we needed. The bathroom had plenty of towels, complimentary shampoo/conditioner. Now can we talk about the VIEW!! Absolutely gorgeous! To wake up every morning to that view! and watch the sun come up was priceless!! The pools! The beach just steps from the pool! Dukes restaurant right next to the pool! It was such a great experience the apartment felt just like home but with a gorgeous view?? thank you!! We will definitely be back with Gods grace!?

Our trip to Maui was way overdue and this vacation was just what we needed! Our unit HKK-829 was superb! Plenty of space for all 5 of us to not feel like we were on top of each other and magnificent views! We have only been gone 24 hours and I’m already having withdrawals from my morning lanai views! This location will be hard to beat in the future!

We had such a relaxing getaway!

We spent a week here with 2 young kids, 2 parents, and 2 grandparents. I have zero reservations recommending it to any family traveling to West Maui. KBM staff was accommodating and helpful with the few questions we had. Check in and check out was super smooth, with good policies in place for late arrivals. The unit itself was comfortable for all six of us. Clean rooms, functioning well supplied kitchen, plenty of towels/tissues/napkins/etc. The AC worked well and really helped when the sun came around in the afternoons. All the appliances worked. There were plenty of beach supplies. The balcony was amazing - we watched the sun set every evening and were even able to spot some whales. The resort was super kid friendly. All the pools seem to have been designed explicitly with kids in mind. The bar has a could good NA options and no problems with requests like splitting drinks or extra garnishes so the kids don't fight over the cherry.... The area was also really convenient. Right on the beach - though it's an unprotected beach. Food truck park next door. Big grocery store across the street. Just about anything else within a 10 minute drive if you need more. We even found multiple dedicated gluten free restaurants within walking distance for anyone for whom that's important :) All in all, 5/5 would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone thinking about going to West Maui, especially with kids.

A perfect stay at this incredible resort. The views can't be beat with whales swimming by the resort and breaching. My family thoroughly enjoyed the pools and hot tubs. The beach right in front of the resort is fantastic! Everything you need is within walking distance of the resort once you drive over to this side of Maui. The staff were friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this place enough. Can't wait to visit again!

We stayed at Honua Kai for the first time through Costco in 2024 and loved it. We knew we wanted to come back again this year. We found KBM and so happy we did because their service is amazing. We would come back again and rent through KBM over and over. Highly recommend.

The unit was beautiful and well equipped. The views are stunning. KBM responded quickly when we had a question or issue arise.

This Unit HKK-825 was absolutely perfect for our Holiday getaway! A spacious 3 bedroom with a breathtaking view of the beach and landscape from the living room.and balcony. We couldn't get enough of it, spent hours just watching the waves roll in, . The Unit was clean, well-equipped and well.furnished, We especially appreciated the beach chairs and towels provided, making it easy to spend the day at the beach. We would highly recommend this place to anyone or family looking for a relaxing and memorable beach vacation!" 

The 3 bedroom apartment was clean and well furnished. We were accommodated with pack and plays for our 6 month old twin grand babies. Communication was a bit confusing as the fourth bedroom was a one bedroom unit across the hall that was managed by a different company. Other than that the week was amazing.

The property is beautiful. The unit-825 accommodated our 7 family members/3 families with ease. The Valet Team who took care of getting and parking our car were absolutely amazing, very helpful and informative. Having the Dukes Restaurant so close was another positive experience. The staff at KBM Resorts were very organized and attend to any issues/questions in a timely matter. Overall, we were very satisfied and happy with our selection to stay at KBM Resorts .

The view is the star, but you'll also love the spacious bedrooms, luxe baths, super comfy beds and high end fully stocked kitchen. The resort was ideal for our three generation family. Roomy beach with no big waves, a pool for every need, Dukes on site, food truck park and grocery store across the street, and a great Maui location all around. We loved it.

We had a lovely time with our family of 6 in this 3 bedroom and 3 bath unit. The balcony was had amazing views of the pool and beach with stunning sunsets too. Plus we appreciated the beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler and umbrella for our use. The resort is beautiful and well run. My kids enjoyed the various pools and the readily available towels. The workout room was an added bonus for keeping our bodies beach ready. The property is located within walking distance of a good grocery store and many restaurants. It was also great to cook many of our meals in our fully stocked kitchen especially the fish we caught. We hope to return to this magical place.

We had planned a family vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for my grandson's second birthday. When the cartels made it dangerous to travel there we were devastated and thought our vacation plans were ruined. With only a week to plan i can upon KBM Resorts and the condos they had for rent in Honua Kai. What a find! We rented two condos, 825 and 820 and our vacation was not only saved it was improved. The complex is fantastic, with several pools and the lazy river for fresh water fun and a beautiful beach right in front of the resort for salt water activities. It was crazy how many whales we saw from our balcony and the turtles that we snorkled with at our beach. We used 825 as our central gathering spot for hanging out and 820 (just down the hall) for extra bedrooms. The appliances and amenities included in the condo made it feel like home. Having the food trucks within an 8 minute walk made eating out at night easy and inexpensive without compromising on quality. Try getting reservations for 11 people at a restaurant! Overall it was an amazing experience and we are already talking about when we will be returning.

If you have kids and are looking for a condo resort for the family, this resort is perfect. We have stayed here four times and our family loves it.

Staying at Honua Kai with KBM was a great decision. Easy check-in and check out. In our unit there was nice beach amenities including beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toy, cooler so it was very convenient. Other favorite amenities for this unit was the kitchen amenities and grill equipment were pretty new. Also enjoyed the bluray player and the folding balcony glass doors. The building has a good general store and the price isn't too bad.

We had a wonderful time. The room and resort were perfect for our family. Will definitely be back!

This condo was great, well stocked, beautiful views, and fully equipped with all the beach necessities. We received a daily call to ensure we were enjoying our stay or to see if we needed anything. Great location and close to a grocery store, eating options and Whalers Village is only 7 minutes away. I would certainly stay again.

We have stayed at various properties with KBM Resorts. Every time we have been very impressed. The attention to detail and great customer services is a pleasure. Their properties are immaculate. I have recommended them to all our family and friends as they are the go to organization for visiting Maui.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the KBM Honua Kai resort! The communication was outstanding leading up to the trip leaving no questions unanswered. The room itself was very nice and had everything we needed from kitchen supplies to beach chairs and a cooler. We would certainly recommend KBM to our friends.

I loved my stay here they had parking with no daily cost. The place was equipped with everything you need in the kitchen. They even had two beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, and two boogie boards for guest to use.

We booked a two week stay with KBM for the Honua Kai (Kona Tower #816) and our experience with the Honua Kai was excellent, topped only by the customer service experience with KBM. The unit was terrific with a wonderful view of the West Maui Mountains.

The unit was extremely clean and all the amenities were perfect. The view of the mountains was beautiful. Even not being an ocean view, we could still see it from our balcony. The property was great with all the pools and big beach out front. Seeing whales from the pool & beach was a huge bonus. Will be using KBM in the future.

We had a great stay in Konea 816. We’ve stayed at Honua Kai many times and have had great experiences with KBM the times we have booked through them. The room was well represented and well maintained. We will seek out KBM in the future given our previous experiences with other property management companies and our positive experiences with KBM.

Konua Kai is an amazing resort. We were so happy with our room and the whole resort. KBM staff was more than helpful to find a place that met our needs. We really enjoyed our time at Honua Kai. The room was perfect for two people and the grounds were beautiful and calm. We really loved the location. We felt tucked away but at the same time had access to lots of delicious local restaurants and beaches. The staff were friendly and helpful and they took great care of the facilities. Multiple times throughout our stay we heard from KBM staff to ensure we had everything we needed. It was a real bonus to have beach chairs, a cooler, and boogie boards ready for us to use. We miss it already and can’t wait to plan another trip!

Our entire stay was excellent. From the time we checked in to the time we left. The condo is spacious and has great decor. The large folding patio doors are great for when the weather is nice and to make the space feel larger and brighter. The resort grounds are immaculate and well taken care of. It was convenient to have the store on the main floor and restaurants on the property. KBM was great to deal with, and sent all check in information well in advance of arriving, and the details for checkin and checkout were clear and easy to follow. Only suggestion I might have for the unit itself, was more or brighter lighting, as it was dark once the sun went down. Also the TV in master bedroom is not a smart TV, so not much to watch on there if you are wanting to have TV time after the kids go to bed in the living room area. Thank you for the excellent stay, we will definitely book again with KBM.

We had an amazing stay at Honua Kai HKK-816. The unit was beautiful, clean, spacious, and very comfortable for our family. The views were incredible, and the location was perfect, easy access to the beach, pools, and everything we wanted to do in Maui.

The ease of booking, the great communication and the clear check in instructions are highlights when booking with KBM. Great staff and very responsive to any questions. The unit itself was updated with good appliances and hard surfaces floors throughout. The little touches like coffee, laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs etc make your stay super easy. The extras (beach gear and infant gear) were much appreciated. Honua Kai itself is one of the best located, outfitted and maintained properties in Kaanapali. We stayed during the Kona Lows of 2026 and the resort itself was one of the best designed in Maui. It weathered the storm and flooding very well and fared much better than the neighbouring resort properties.

Beautiful and well equipped room! Never thought we would see so much of our room than we did on our last trip to Maui during the epic Kona storm! Beautifully decorated , beautiful views of the mountains. Highly recommend
