Honua Kai HKH-412/23/24

Aloha! I have always booked directly with resorts and never used a vacation rental company before and needless to say, I was a little concerned on the process, service, and security of it all. After all is said and done, I am extremely satisfied by KBM for the assistance and service throughout the process and the final product and experience of our family vacation. We found a smoking deal, the Hard Hat Special, at the Honua Kai property and booked our vacation. KBM was super fast and responsive with multiple property quotes and multiple date requests while we were planning our vacation. Once we decided on our dates and room, KBM made the rest of the process a breeze. Free rental car and free valet/hotel parking was a nice additional benefit. The room was very nice, well appointed, comfortable and gave our family a very comfortable home base for our stay. The kids and I found the construction project next door to be educational and entertaining. The noise was hardly noticeable with the windows closed. There was obvious noise when the doors and windows were open, but it was hardly disturbing. After all, we were only in the room for meals, rest and sleeping, so the construction was never an issue for us. We are already planning a trip for next year and will be contacting KBM for assistance.

We had a great time at Honua Kai- we have stayed there before and knew we would have a good experience. Only negative was the lanai due to construction next door. We were aware of construction- I just didn't think about how much dust there would be on lanai.

Overall, we were extremely pleased with this unit and the KBM Management. It was truly as advertised. While there is construction next door, nothing could be heard. The unit was exceptionally clean upon check-in and was well stocked with bath and beach towels. The property itself was beautiful, very well-maintained, and had wonderful staff.

Our unit had exceptional amenities. It was very quiet and comfortable.

Renting this unit with KBM was a great experience! The unit was clean, well stocked and we loved the L'Occitane soaps and lotions. I was a bit worried about the free car rental, but this was also a good experience and a super benefit. We upgraded slightly. The closet had a boogie board, 2 chairs, 2 umbrellas, great sand toys and a cooler (this will need replacement soon). Unit was supplied with 6 high quality beach towels. KBM website and registration was easy and they were very responsive prior to our arrival with reminders to make check-in easy. I would definitely rent with KBM again!

I love going thru KBM Hawaii, the staff is great to work with. The follow up and communication is great and they will go the extra mile to take care of you. It would be in your best interest to follow up with a KBM Hawaii staff to make sure the room as everything it should have. That said; I will still go thru KBM Hawaii, but will make sure it's a quality room that we expect from Honua Kai Property.

We always love staying at the Honua Kai. Working with KBM has been a great experience. We originally had booked our trip for 2020 but had to cancel due to Covid restrictions shutting the island down, and they allowed us to push it out until 2022 as we were unable to visit in 2021.

Great resort with beautiful grounds and pools!! Loved every minute there the condo was spacious well stocked with everything needed for the week!!

Honua Kai is a gorgeous property, conveniently located to Maui’s attractions. The unit is spacious & well equipped with everything you’ll need for a wonderful vacation! It also has lovely lanai to enjoy the trade winds or whale watch.

We just returned from the beautiful island of Maui! We stayed at Honua Kai 11 years ago and we were excited to return. Overall we were happy, the grounds are beautiful, pools are lovely and the beach right outside the resort is amazing, great for snorkelling! This unit does have a nice view. KBM was very easy to communicate with and they were responsive. Check in process was seamless and easy. We would use KBM again.

I highly recommend staying at Honua Kai in West Maui. There are three pools, Duke’s infamous restaurant, and the grounds are beautiful with a 5 min walk to the pristine sandy beaches. Unit HKH-412 is a beautiful 2 bedroom condo with a full kitchen and W/D. You can watch the sunset on the ocean from the comfort of the large balcony. The unit is equipped with beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a cooler. It’s a great place for the family to stay and centrally located to all the sights on the Island.

The accommodations in unit 423 at Honua Kai were excellent and the interaction with staff at KBM a pleasure. The resort is beautiful and we were able to view whales from our lani. Mahalo

If you have the option to book through KBM Hawaii, then do not hesitate. This was by far the best and most hassle free way of traveling to Maui for us. So much worry and stress was taken away as they made sure every detail was taken care of. From picking up our car to coming into the fully stocked condo with chocolates waiting for us. Thanks again KBM!

KBM did not disappoint again. I have rented one, two, and three bedroom unit from them before. With being a quick solo trip I figured I would try the studio unit. It surpassed all my needs and will be back.

This was my first visit to Maui; one of our bucket list items. BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING Resort! Couldn't have asked for anything better.

We’ve had the best time with our family staying across the courtyard from each other and waving in the morning. The pools and beach are fantastically fun for snorkeling, SUP, boogie boarding and watching sunsets. Our granddaughter especially favored the water slide, and thanks for having it monitored on a schedule. Everything’s so convenient for dining in or out, and Dukes restaurant was fantastic. I’d rate this place the friendliest, where everyone acknowledges one another and likes a social community of families! We will be back and recommend it to all of our friends. Thank you for a great value and such a great experience!

We spent a lovely week at Honua Kai. Our unit was very clean and had lots of nice amenities. The people with KBM were very easy and quick to communicate with. Our free rental car was a great perk of staying with KBM. We will definitely stay with KBM again.

Stayed 14 days for my wife’s birthday could not have been any better. The view from the lanai is incredible.KBM does a great job with customer service!!

Everything was fantastic

HKH-423 was perfect! Loved everything about this room and will definitely ask for this room again. The view from our Lanai was gorgeous. We loved having those beautiful glass doors open the whole time we were there. The kitchen is quite large and with the island there was so much room. When you think studio room most would think bed, bath, couch, chair, small. This room was anything but small. Washroom was quite large with the separate bath and shower. Large closets one with the washer dryer which we used every day. Kitchen was well equipped. We were provided with more than enough dishwasher pods and pods for the washer. We were there for 12 days and KBM was very accommodating. We have used KBM every time we have come to Maui and they have been great. Highly recommend them. Was a perfect room for this couple and will definitely ask for 423 again.

Honua Kai in Maui was absolutely stunning and well appointed, everything I could have imagined. Extraordinary views, amazing pools, family and individuals were each greeted and attended to in a truly Hawaiian way. Easy access to the beach and snorkeling, Duke's restaurant on the property and other shopping was easily accessible. Would return anytime to this splendid resort

Everything was great! Love this place.

The room was awesome. Very clean and spacious. I was surprised to see beach chairs, bodyboards, sand toys, an umbrella and cooler in the closet. Great room if you are traveling with a toddler because it has a pack n play and booster seat for the kitchen table. Loved how the fridge had an ice and water dispenser. We had an amazing experience. The only thing I want to mention is the lining of the shower curtain having some spots of mold. Overall, 10/10 room!

Everything was as expected. Clean, well stocked and made are stay perfect. The location can’t be beat and the price was incredible. The grounds are well maintained and located in one of the best resorts in Lahaina. I’ve stayed all over the island in my vacations, but this was best spot yet.

The room was just like the pictures and very nice. The rental agency called to check in and make sure everything met our expectations. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and all the dishes we needed. We will definitely be back. The rental vehicle was a great to have.

Beautiful, spacious condo! We appreciated all the details we discovered during our stay in the condo, from the Maui Coffee to the beach chairs and boogie boards. We enjoyed our coffee every morning on the beautiful large lanai. The condo is in a great location in Ka'anapali, the pools/hot tubs were wonderful and the stunning white sand beach with clear water was a highlight. Would definitely come back!

We enjoyed our stay on Maui and felt very spoiled at our KBM Resort. Everything was so clean and well maintained. The beach was so close, the accommodation was well equipped and the bonus of our free car rental made our stay stellar!

We absolutely love staying at the Honua Kai with KBM Resorts. This was our 3rd time staying here with KBM and they make check in and out easy, provide a rental car and the Honua Kia resort is beautiful! Very kid friendly with wonderful pools and poolside service. Highly recommended this place!

We love these mountain facing units with all.the. Rainbows!! HKH-424 did not disappoint and the folks at KBM were wonderful, providing clear instructions on how to access the unit, arranging and adjusting the car rental (included- but you do have to pay some fees and insurance if you choose it- still a good priced car rental for 10 Days!) we made the call to add a extra day and they were able to accommodate and gave us a fair rate for the add on! They were available as needed to answer questions and got back to us within 15 minutes the couple of times we reached out. Honua Kai is a wonderful safe resort, with everything you could ever want, the beaches are wonderful and provide everything you could want with a different adventure each day. This visit we saw turtles every day (June) and other times we’ve been we have seen whales, dolphins and flying fish! Plus the sunsets are stunning!! We will be back! And highly recommend using KBM specifically for booking this location or others through them. They have consistently been been fair and helpful. Thanks again for a great visit!

We had such a pleasant stay!! Eve thing was super clean and the communication was on point! Very fast in responding back to me. I would definitely think of staying here again in the near future.

I recently stayed at this beautiful condo in Hawaii and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The condo itself was clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, cozy and well-equipped. The view from the balcony and the proximity to the beach made it the perfect spot to relax and soak in the Hawaiian atmosphere. Everything I needed was provided and the property manager was responsive, welcoming, and made check-in a breeze. This condo made my trip truly unforgettable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Hawaii!

We got back last week from our family vacation and I must say this stay was incredible. We have traveled to Oahu three times and this is our second trip to Maui so we have experienced many different rooms. This was the best accommodations we have stayed at hands down. The weather was awesome, and we saw a rainbow every single day! We enjoyed the sunrise volcano view each morning, the casual and comfortable furniture, full kitchen with dishwasher as well as a full in apartment laundry. KBM stocked the place with enough soap for the dishwasher and laundry for the entire stay (2 adults, 2 kids). They also got us more toilet paper when we ran out. The room includes comfortable pillows, bedding, and beds. We had many nice sleeps and the odd afternoon nap after enjoying the Hawaiian sun. We were surprised to have some local treats as well as amazing local coffee left in the room to welcome us upon arrival. The air conditioning makes it so that you are more than comfortable and the elevator is surprisingly fast. Feels like it only takes a short few minutes to get from room to pool or beach. We loved the pools and poolside service from Dukes restaurant which is right on site by the ocean. The beach is world class and so is golden hour. As part of our stay a car rental was included from Avis, for a small fee we upgraded to a convertible mustang. Best way to enjoy Maui is with the top down. We even had underground parking! The room looks like the pictures displayed online. The room has a really nice TV in the living room, we used it once. The huge patio with access from the bedroom and living room was excellent. Whenever we sent an email to KBM we received an email back and usually a phone call. They are extremely responsive when you ask about or for something. They are very thorough on communication in advance of your trip, you receive texts and emails with door codes and what to do upon arrival. They also have the same strong communication upon checkout. The only unfortunate thing about our stay was that we had to leave. But alas, all good things must come to an end! Thanks for an amazing stay, mahalo!

We had a great stay in Honua Kai. The room was very clean. kbm provided clear instructions and followed up with us prior to arrival and after arrival to ensure our stay is comfortable.

We booked 424 for our week stay and it was perfect. Great location with the best food truck park right outside the gates. I loved having laundry, easy access to parking, the beach, and an easy drive everywhere. We traveled with 2 adults and one 8 year old and she LOVED the pools. We couldn’t have been happier and will book here the next time we come to Maui.
