I had some reservations about working with a property management group for our vacation. With other companies, we have been left disappointed. But KBM was terrific! The unit was clean and in good shape, they made the check in process super easy and they even became an information hub during a fire that caused a power outage. We love KBM and will use their services next time as well!

We absolutely love Honua Kai! It is an amazing resort. This was the first time we used an outside property management to book. Overall it was a fantastic week in Lahaina.

I don't believe we could have enjoyed the experience anymore than we did. We would definitely consider staying here again. We were in Honua Kai Unit #406 Hokulani Building and the view was perfect! Great view of the ocean, the photo from the site doesn't do it any justice.

The condo was perfect for our family. The pools all offered something different and our kids loved them all. The beach was steps away and we were able to hear the waves crash from our balcony. Dukes was convenient, the location is easy to navigate Maui. We will be back!

This was another great stay at Honua Kai. Honua Kai is a fantastic resort with great amenities, easy beach access, and beautiful resort grounds. Booking through KBM was easy and the whole experience was excellent. We would stay in unit 406 again without hesitation. The condo is spacious and clean with well a well stocked kitchen, and a large lanai with a fantastic ocean view and plenty of direct sunlight. We hope to return again!

I absolutely love this property and can’t wait to stay in the newer Konea tower or perhaps even the Luana Garden Villas for our next visit to Maui. Our corner unit with two master bedrooms and baths was incredibly spacious and well-designed—it felt like we had the entire floor to ourselves! It was a far superior experience compared to a typical hotel room with limited space. The KBM staff and hotel team—including valet, bellhops, food and beverage staff, and security—were exceptionally friendly, personable, and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The property is beautifully maintained, and we frequently saw dedicated maintenance staff diligently tending to the grounds, including the removal of spiders, ensuring a comfortable and well-kept environment. Additionally, security personnel were present on-site, ensuring that only KBM resort guests had access to the property and keeping unwanted visitors out, which added to our sense of safety and exclusivity.

The location and resort was perfect for our family. We loved our beach and pool days! The cats made my kids trip!!

The condo was perfect for us. I love that they were able to convert the king bed into two twins for my sons. The view was amazing and we ate all our meals out on the lanai. The beach chairs and umbrella were a must have so that was so nice that they were provided. We were able to snorkel with fish and turtles right off the beach and rent snorkel gear from the resort. We loved the general store and the restaurant on site. There was nothing we would have changed and I would highly recommend this condo to anyone!

What a great spot on the beach. Everything was very clean and well supplied. We had an issue with the dryer and dishwasher. They came right away, fixed the dryer and replaced the dishwasher while we were out enjoying the area. Everything was better than we left it. The convenience to everything we needed was a major plus. The beach, Duke’s restaurant, market, and we especially loved the beach walk down to Black Rock and beyond. Thank you, we will definitely consider staying there again!!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the Honua Kai. First time was in 2018. Large units and lanais, great location, beautiful grounds and pools. It’s still very nice and I’d stay here again.

Our family of 4 had a great time at the Honua Kai! We’ve stayed with many property rental companies in the past and KBM was by far the most communicative and seamless to work with. Instructions were clear, the unit was properly stocked with essentials and check in and check out was really easy. The property itself was great — by far the best on Kaanapali. We will definitely be staying here again and I will surely book through KBM.

The accommodations in unit 423 at Honua Kai were excellent and the interaction with staff at KBM a pleasure. The resort is beautiful and we were able to view whales from our lani. Mahalo

If you have the option to book through KBM Hawaii, then do not hesitate. This was by far the best and most hassle free way of traveling to Maui for us. So much worry and stress was taken away as they made sure every detail was taken care of. From picking up our car to coming into the fully stocked condo with chocolates waiting for us. Thanks again KBM!

KBM did not disappoint again. I have rented one, two, and three bedroom unit from them before. With being a quick solo trip I figured I would try the studio unit. It surpassed all my needs and will be back.

This was my first visit to Maui; one of our bucket list items. BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING Resort! Couldn't have asked for anything better.

We’ve had the best time with our family staying across the courtyard from each other and waving in the morning. The pools and beach are fantastically fun for snorkeling, SUP, boogie boarding and watching sunsets. Our granddaughter especially favored the water slide, and thanks for having it monitored on a schedule. Everything’s so convenient for dining in or out, and Dukes restaurant was fantastic. I’d rate this place the friendliest, where everyone acknowledges one another and likes a social community of families! We will be back and recommend it to all of our friends. Thank you for a great value and such a great experience!

We spent a lovely week at Honua Kai. Our unit was very clean and had lots of nice amenities. The people with KBM were very easy and quick to communicate with. Our free rental car was a great perk of staying with KBM. We will definitely stay with KBM again.

Stayed 14 days for my wife’s birthday could not have been any better. The view from the lanai is incredible.KBM does a great job with customer service!!

Everything was fantastic

HKH-423 was perfect! Loved everything about this room and will definitely ask for this room again. The view from our Lanai was gorgeous. We loved having those beautiful glass doors open the whole time we were there. The kitchen is quite large and with the island there was so much room. When you think studio room most would think bed, bath, couch, chair, small. This room was anything but small. Washroom was quite large with the separate bath and shower. Large closets one with the washer dryer which we used every day. Kitchen was well equipped. We were provided with more than enough dishwasher pods and pods for the washer. We were there for 12 days and KBM was very accommodating. We have used KBM every time we have come to Maui and they have been great. Highly recommend them. Was a perfect room for this couple and will definitely ask for 423 again.

Honua Kai in Maui was absolutely stunning and well appointed, everything I could have imagined. Extraordinary views, amazing pools, family and individuals were each greeted and attended to in a truly Hawaiian way. Easy access to the beach and snorkeling, Duke's restaurant on the property and other shopping was easily accessible. Would return anytime to this splendid resort

Everything was great! Love this place.

We had a fabulous time!! We loved the access to the beach and the many great pool choices. My grandson loved the water slide. The condo had all the things we needed for the beach!!

The unit was nice with two master bedrooms and a full kitchen and lanai. The resort is beautiful and right on the beach. We were 6 people and the unit never felt crowded.

Condo was spotless when we arrived. Welcome items were a nice touch. Perfect vacation in beautiful Maui!

We are so glad we chose this resort. The resort is perfect. Villa has everything you need, underground parking and great location to dining options to walk to. We loved the boardwalk for our morning walks. Snorkeling was also amazing right in front of the resort!

We had a very good time at Honua Kai. Our unit was clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and the washer/dryer are a plus. The pools are great and the beach is beautiful, good for snorkeling but not so much for swimming. The boardwalk was a nice treat and we enjoyed being able to go on family walks after dinner. The resort is located near (walking distance) to a grocery store, food truck park and has a convenience/gift shop with a lot of useful items. Staff was always friendly and polite.

We stayed at the Hokulani for a week at the end of October beginning of Nov. The rooms and bathrooms were great, beds comfortable. It was very clean. They had many kitchen tools however we didn’t cook there. The patio was nice. We used the beach and facilities which were one of the nicest we visited and so convenient. The room has chairs, umbrella and cooler which came in handy! And the resort offers beach towels. Close to Whalers Village which was nice and could walk across the street for coffee and the Times Market. We would stay there again for sure!

The Condo was everything! 10/10. The Host was very friendly and responsive.

The property was exactly as described, clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything a guest might need. The check-in process was smooth, and communication with the host was prompt and friendly throughout the stay.

This host was truly exceptional. Not only did I encounter a challenging check-in, but they promptly rectified the situation. They went above and beyond to address my concerns, made an extra effort, and even gifted me a token of their appreciation. I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service, so I extended my stay by an additional day. I will definitely be returning to this establishment on my next visit to the town. Sadly we had to depart! Unit is great, spacious kitchen that is fully equipped. Large bedrooms and beautiful Mountain View’s. The resort is right on the beach. Nice pools, and Dukes on-site is a bonus!
