Place was fantastic. So close to the ocean and so comfortable. Beds were so comfortable .

504 is a great room with views of the ocean as well as the mountains. It was very clean and had everything we could ask for. My friends and I enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer!

The condo was large, spacious and well laid out and easily accommodated the five of us for our three week stay. We never heard any noise from guests in other condos. We had an amazing view from our lanai. We enjoyed having a restaurant and coffee shop on site. Having an excellent grocery store within walking distance was especially convenient. Parking for our rental vehicle was always available.

Beautiful property inside out. KBM was very responsive to my numerous questions. We also had a small issue with the dryer, which was taken care of immediately. I would recommend the property and KBM anytime.

Honestly this was one of the most well managed, worry free vacation rental Experiences I have ever had. From the beginning with my first correspondence and contract dealings; Maria Tobon was phenomenal. Responsive to questions almost immediately. She took a genuine interest to ask what we were celebrating, and how she could help... this was 4 months before our trip! Anytime we reached out to the concierge/contact email at KBM throughout the week, the response from their team and redemedy (if necessary) was top priority. The condo was stocked for every situation. Young kids, beach gear, football... appleTV to get to all your streaming apps. Really, we needed for nothing but groceries when we arrived. Providing dish washing pods and laundry pods was a VERY NICE TOUCH! I will recommend, not only this company, but this condo to med-large families. It has everything!

We had a fantastic time at this condo. Communication was excellent and check in was smooth. The condo itself was spacious and clean. There was a full set of kitchen and bath amenities. And finally, the view was just unbeatable!

We have loved our stay at Honua Kai 504. From booking to arrival and check in there was awesome communication and contact. Our condo was beautiful, big, and better than expected. Loved having the 2 king beds in the room for our kids. Bathrooms are huge and kitchen was supplied with everything needed for a week stay. The balcony was our favorite as we opened the doors every morning and evening to watch and hear the ocean waves. Thanks for making our stay here awesome and memories amazing!

I cant say enough good things about this unit. The view was amazing! We enjoyed our entire stay and we were really appreciative of all the things they had for our kids, including TWO pack N plays, a highchair and kids utensils. We would definitely stay here again.

Honua Kai HKH-504: A Perfect Maui Retreat! Our stay at Honua Kai HKH-504 was nothing short of spectacular—an easy 10/10! The unit was immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The spacious layout and stunning ocean views from the lanai were absolutely breathtaking—we spent every evening soaking in the sunset with our family. The kitchen was a dream for preparing meals, and the high-end appliances were a wonderful touch. The bedrooms were cozy and well appointed with towels and linens, ensuring we woke up well-rested every morning to enjoy Maui’s endless adventures. Honua Kai’s amenities were top-notch. The pools were pristine, and the beachfront access made it effortless to dive into Maui’s crystal-clear waters. The location was ideal—close to Lahaina, Whaler’s Village, and plenty of dining options, yet still felt like a peaceful escape from the busier parts of the island. The service was also incredible. From booking to check-out, the staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring our experience was seamless. If you’re looking for a slice of paradise, Honua Kai HKH-504 is it. We can’t wait to return! We had a fantastic stay in this 3 bedroom condo. Well appointed and maintained. The property managers were quick to respond to any issues we had, down to supplying us with extra kitchen towels. There were beach chairs and a cooler to use which came in very handy as well as an assortment of games for evening fun. This round we were traveling with our adult children and having King beds in each of the rooms was a treat. I can't speak to the TV's as we never had them on. Views from the balcony of the sunsets and whales was breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven.

It was wonderful! Excellent view from balcony. Very comfortable to live in with a larger family. Well equipped kitchen and laundry. Bonus of beach items to use. Easy access to beach, pools, town, etc... Would stay here again.

We had a great stay at Honua Kai in unit HKH504. The unit was spacious and met our needs. The far guest bedroom with the ensuite bathroom had two king beds! The master was lovely with direct access to the deck, lovely spot for morning coffee. The unit can sleep 10, though we only had 5 people. There were also box fans in each room which our son and his fiancé appreciated as they need "white noise" to sleep. There were 6 Tommy Bahama beach chairs, a cooler, 4 boogie boards and 2 umbrellas for our use. We really liked the electronic code entry system for the parking garage, door and towel kiosk. So easy to use. This unit has designated underground parking which was nice and kept the car cool. We enjoyed the pool and the beach and rented a cabana for 2 days. The KBM team was great in answering my questions ahead of time. The air conditioning turns off as soon as you open the door to the deck, even if you close it right away. But once we got in the groove of pressing the "on" button again on the AC the place stayed cool. The views from the unit were wonderful. We loved that it faced south as the sun was never directly hitting the desk so we could sit out all day and enjoy without direct sun. As it's on the outside of the U, we never felt like we were in a fishbowl, which I would think would happen if on the inside of the U. They had a nice package of coffee and chocolate covered macadamia nuts for us upon arrival. Would definitely rent from KBM again AND we'd definitely want this unit as well. Beds were comfy too. We didn't have any children with us, but they did have plastic dishes and children's beach toys available.

Unit 504 was great! We had 3 couples plus 3 grandkids, and the rooms were nice. The master bed/bathroom was awesome. The whole unit layout was good for us (even my 6'3" 15 yr old grandson slept on the sofa bed with no issues)! The kitchen was well stocked and accommodates simple dinner/meals. We grilled 'in' (dinner) 3 nights. Because we had a 3 bedroom unit, the balcony was extra long and a FANTASTIC VIEW of the ocean. All of us spent quality time on the balcony every day listening to music or the waves! An extra bonus for us was the 4 beach chairs that were used EVERY day. KBM Resorts was good to work with. They kept us informed, and the access codes were easy to use/follow. Will I rent there again AND use KBM? absolutely!

This was the most amazing place to stay. So big and nice, very clean, and perfect location. It was perfect for our large family.

Our 9 person group had an amazing time in HKH 504… the unit was clean and had everything we needed! We very much enjoyed the beach equipment! No complaints, we will be back!

Loved everything about this resort. Rooms were clean, spacious, well accommodated and provided all the essentials we would need. This resort had several pools which is great if you’re vacationing with babies/kids.

We had another great experience with KBM at Honua Kai Resort. The rooms were spacious and the 2 king room was a lifesaver. The beds are super comfy (need to know what mattesss brand they were) everyone said they slept like babies and no aches and pains in the morning. The lanai had gorgeous view of the ocean and mountains. Beautiful sunrises over the mountains and sunsets in the water. Until next time this was our favorite unit so far after 10 years coming to Honua Kai Resort.

HKH-504 for a week was 10/10 for our family of 6. We loved the unit, it was great to have separate bedrooms for mom and dad, the girls and the boys. KBM provided everything you could think of needing, from beach gear (chairs, boogie board, football) to books to laundry baskets! The unit was clean and well taken care of. Plenty of towels, garbage bags, paper towels, tp, etc. Never needed to call for anything. Highly recommend booking this unit. We will for sure be back!

The unit was as featured in the listing. There was plenty of space for everyone in our group. The unit is well equipped for everything you would need to cook dinner at home, but also everything you would need for a fun day on the beach (chairs, cooler, boogie boards). The amenities at the resort and the location were top notch! Would love to stay here again.

KBM was easy to work with. Customer service was helpful with questions. Honua Kai is in a great location and is a beautiful property. Lots of young families with children so if you are looking for a quiet adult friendly condo, you may consider other places. Honua Kai does offer adult only pool area and it is nice quiet area to relax.

We just returned from a 7 night vacation. Our room was exactly as pictured inside and the view. KBM was very easy to work with. Honua Kai was a beautiful resort. Duke's restaurant is a bit pricey but its nice to have an onsite restaurant for the times you just don't want to leave. We walked the beach every morning and watched the sunset some evenings. There is a nice boardwalk that goes in front of all the resorts almost to Black Rock. I would definitely book through KBM again and stay at Honua Kai again!

We really appreciate the customer service and communication we received through KBM Hawaii. They all made everything so easy for us from the reservation, to check-in, to check out. The extras provided helped to make traveling with a young child so much easier. We would rent through KBM again without hesitation.

This management company knows how to make vacations easy and seamless for vacationers! Everything was so smooth from check in to check out. The room was spotless and provided the perfect starter kit to get our vacation going. We are so impressed with the unit and the company running the experience of staying there.

Unit was perfect for 1 Adult and young teen girls. Super comfortable and nicely appointed. They had plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas to bring along for beach days. For being on the 5th floor, still had a good view of the ocean and pools. KBM customer service was "EXCELLENT." They were very communicative and responsive.

My husband surprised me with a week in Maui for Christmas!! The Best Gift Ever!! After some health issues in 2025 we were ready to travel!! We had a wonderful experience staying at our favorite resort Honua Kai on Kaanapali Beach in Maui. Our studio 537 was perfect for us. We loved our ocean view looking out over the swimming pool. The lanai is the best place to enjoy coffee in the morning and also the perfect place to end your day with a glass of wine. The proximity to the beautiful Beach Walk makes the location even better!! We have stayed at the Honua Kai Resort several times through the years. If you choose this location you will not be disappointed!! Mahalo and Aloha!!

Truly the perfect getaway for couples, families, for anyone!

We had the most beautiful room at Honua Kai! Tastefully decorated with a magnificent view of the ocean! Other than that, everything was perfect.

We’ve been here many times but always in bigger units. We got a studio (HKH-537) this time since it was just my daughter and I. Unit was perfect for 2 or even 2 and a child in pull out sofa Pleasantly surprised with unit and view was better than I expected. Very spacious for a studio! Floors are newer as is some of furniture. Kitchen had everything even brand new spices and cooking spray. Plenty of laundry and dishwasher pods, paper towels,TP, plus coffee and filters so didn’t need to pack these. Bed super comfy! Weather was not nice as they were having massive rain fall and flooding so didn’t get the tan we wanted but no fault of condo. KBM was great about reminder texts and communications. We will plan later in April or May next time but it was our spring break and I think we just got unlucky with storm.
