My family of 4 went to Maui and loved our time there. The location on the west side was great for us and everything is near by. The resort was nice with lots of great views. The room itself was great for our 2 boys on the pull out coach which probably needs a new mattress. Lots of storage and loved the full kitchen with table.

It’s hard not to have a great time in Maui. The Honua Kai never disappoints with its excellent location and amenities. We have stayed at this resort over the years 5 times. Our experience renting from KBM was excellent. There was a small hiccup and it was dealt with quickly by the local team. We would not hesitate to rent through KBM again and specifically room 238. Comfy bed and great linens. All good!

KBM resort staff was excellent from start to finish during my three week stay! The free rental car deal was fabulous and pain free! The use of the garage was very convenient. The unit was clean, very comfortable, fully stocked and functional. Overall, the resort was great! The gym was a good size and well equipped. Having Duke's on the resort was super convenient. Also, the Whaler General store was nice to have within walking distance in a pinch for most anything you would need to get by. The unvented dryer took a little while to get used to, but by making sure that the lint reservoir is clean and by using the timed drying for at least one hour worked well! Everyone that I dealt with at the resort was very professional and helpful! I hated to leave and would definitely stay here again! Kudos and Mahalo!

This was our first time at Honua Kai and it met all of our expectations! The condo was clean, updated, and had all the essentials we needed for a relaxing stay. It was the perfect amount of space for our family of four. We loved the special touch of having beach chairs, umbrella, boogie board, and toys for the kids to make sand castles. The patio was spacious with a large chair and ottoman, a dining table, and the ocean view from the balcony was beautiful. Although not oceanfront we still had a spectacular view of the ocean while enjoying our breakfast on the balcony. The resort itself is beautiful with the grounds meticulously maintained, multiple pools to choose from, the staff was always smiling and helpful, and there was never a shortage of towels to grab when we came down. The beach is a short walk beyond the pool area and was the perfect size offering space anywhere to plant yourself for the day. We highly recommend this resort, and this unit in particular if you’re looking for a 1 bedroom for your stay. Huge thank you to KBM for their constant communication and customer service! We plan to visit again and will make sure to reserve HKH-238 for our next stay!

We booked Honua Kai and our expectations were exceeded. The free rental car was a bonus, but the service from KBM was better than any other company we have booked through. One of the beach chairs was ripped, and after reaching out they contacted me and brought a new chair to our room that day. We were also running low on some kitchen supplies and they arrived with replenishment within a few hours. Having such a responsive team put us at ease and ensured we had a great vacation! We had a great time and lovely Spring Break at Honua Kai. The service and staff were very accommodating and made everything such a breeze. Our 1-bedroom place was the perfect size for our family of 3 and was very comfortable, clean, neat and tidy. The multiple pools and beach access were great. The location was perfect for us to explore north and south of us. Everything we did was within 10-15 minutes. We did have a decent amount of rain during our trip, but we made the best of it and still enjoyed our time at the resort.

Honua Kai is a beautiful resort! You can't go wrong! We had 4 adults and 2 children in this 2 bedroom condo and that worked fairly well. I wouldn't recommend using the pullout as a bed as it was very uncomfortable. 2 big bathrooms and a long patio in this suite. Beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, boogie boards all provided- which we appreciated!

This was our third stay at Honua Kai but our first stay with KBM in unit H247. We love the 2nd floor location because it's easy and fast to get in/out of. The Condo was very clean.The carpet is getting a bit worn, but still clean and more than acceptable. Love the fact that they could split the king bed in the 2nd bedroom so our kids could have their own beds. We did require new bedding during our stay and the staff brought us a new comforter amazingly fast. The rental car experience was also super easy and fast. I would definitely recommend KBM - simple booking experience & great service.

This was a great vacation

This was a great vacation. The condo is decently stocked, although lacking in a few areas, which I suggested to the management company. Overall this resort is top notch, love having the resort feeling, but being in a condo with a kitchen and laundry. A couple things to note, the water heater is tiny so it really is good for one, maybe 2 quick showers, we took a lot of cold showers. The cooler, chairs, and frisbee were a great addition. The location is awesome. If you park below in the parking garage you basically go straight up the elevator to the room! Very easy to come and go. Dukes has decent food but is overpriced. The pools and hot tubs are awesome, crowded, but great. They are also open until 10 PM and really no employees are there bugging you about anything, but are very helpful if you need something. The beach was a little disappointing, you can kind of swim but there is a huge reef and big waves so not a very user friendly situation if you have kids. Overall our experience was awesome, and we will stay again. KMB was a great and handled all requests quickly and check in was easy! With a few small tweaks to the condo it could be perfect! This vacation was just my husband, myself, and my kids, but I would be comfortable with 2 couples, and 2 kids on the sofa bed if necessary.

This is the second time we have stayed in this resort and we will probably stay again in the future. The condos are spacious enough for our family movie nights and game nights, plus the balcony is our favorite spot to hang out and enjoy the views. We can eat out or eat in with the convenience of the well stocked kitchen. Most importantly it doesn’t feel outdated, dirty or musty. Everything was updated and new in our condo. There are trash chutes on every floor but they were often full during busy season so finding a trash can could have been better but we figured it out. The location is perfect with beach access, Dukes located right on the property, Whalers village 5 min away and Safeway 9 minutes away. The pools are nice, especially for kids, but do need a little attention soon as the tiles start to fall. The beach walks at sunrise and sunset made it just the vacation we were looking for. We had a wonderful time at this condo! It had everything we needed for a week vacation as a family of 4 with two teenagers. KBM provided excellent service prior to arrival and once we arrived we had an issue with the main AC that was fixed promptly. I would highly recommend booking through KBM and this beautiful condo! We had a wonderful stay at Honua Kai through KBM Rentals. From start to finish, KBM Rentals was incredibly thorough and professional, providing clear communication and thoughtful follow-ups via text and email from check-in all the way through checkout. It truly made the experience seamless and stress-free. The resort itself was beautifully maintained and clean. Our whole family enjoyed the pools and beach. The unit was very spacious and had a well-equipped kitchen, making it easy to feel right at home. We especially appreciated the extra touches, like the beach chairs, cooler, and beach toys, which were perfect for our youngest child. The view from the room was absolutely spectacular and added so much to the overall experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely recommend Honua Kai HKH-247 and KBM Rentals. We would definitely stay here again!

This was such a beautiful space to stay in for my friend trip. The place is spacious with great appliances, beds, and finishes in the kitchen and restrooms. The view of the property from the balcony was spectacular. I was amazed at how homey it felt to be in that space. It made my first trip to Maui in a long time so special.
