KBM is the best management company I've worked with. When all is going smoothly, they still keep in constant contact to make sure you are taken care of. But when things go awry - like getting stuck in the monsoon that just hit Maui - they rise above and beyond. Warnings for hazard conditions, and then working to accommodate us with cancelled flights, extended stays, rental care extensions - they really stepped up and helped to ease a very stressful situation. I'm very impressed!

This condo is a penthouse looking out over the ocean and right on the beach. Coastal decor and comfortable furniture. You can fall asleep listening to the waves, watch whales and turtles from your lanai as good as any boat trip. You have a great view of rainbows on Molokai and sunsets over the water. Well-stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook or grill. Mahana is a quiet place with pool, hot tub, grills, shuffle board and easy parking. There’s a grassy lawn overlooking the beach (you need to walk a little further down for bigger beach access with sandy bottom) with chairs galore. You are right next door to Duke’s restaurant and the Beach Path that goes all the way to Whaler’s Village. KBM is a great company to deal with—easy access to help for any issue and people to call (not bots) with questions about reservations. They maintain their places well and always ask for feedback. Super responsive.

We normally stay at the Bay Villa’s with KBM, but this time from a recommendation from a friend we stayed at the Mahana. At first, we were a little skeptical about a high-rise, but as the days went on, we enjoyed it more and more. The building is relatively quiet. It is not overly fancy, but it has virtually everything that you need hot tub, pool barbecue towels. The views from the ocean front are fantastic. The unit is well a portion and has everything you really need. We recommend the Mahana very much.

Amazing Penthouse Unit and KBM Staff!

To celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, we came BACK to stay at The Mahana, and it was everything we remembered. This time we stayed on the top floor in a corner penthouse unit MA1211, and it was amazing. The unit is very well kept, plenty of amenities for your oceanside experience, and everyone at the resort was extremely nice and accommodating. After finding the unit on VRBO, I noticed that it was managed by KBM Resorts. From booking and throughout our stay (which included a Tsunami scare) the entire staff was top notch! They helped with all of my special requests and communicated effectively via Text and Email for all portions of the trip. I can't single out one agent because they were all so friendly and helpful. I will definitely use them the next time we come to Hawaii or one of the other cities where they have accommodations. Thanks! John

The staff works so hard and it shows! The property is meticulously maintained; it’s beautiful. They actually clean the gas barbecues every single day! I had a concern with bugs and KBM responded within minutes!! They thoroughly investigated, brought in a professional pest company, changed out ALL linens and were exceedingly professional, even when zero bugs were found. I was very impressed with their speedy response and their professionalism. We will definitely use KBM for future stays.

This is a beautiful two-bedroom condo on the top floor with amazing views of the ocean and a double lanai. The decor is updated and pleasing. Furniture is super comfortable, and family room has slider to lanai so floor to ceiling view of the ocean. The lanai has a high-top table and chairs so you can eat out there and enjoy watching whales, boats, surfers, sea turtles, dolphins, and—of course—sunsets from a birds’ eye view. There are several comfy lounge chairs as well. Kitchen is really well-provisioned with everything you need for cooking. Both bedrooms have nice bathrooms and comfortable beds. The main bedroom has a slider to the lanai so you can leave it open and fall asleep to the sound of waves. Condo included beach chairs/towels, beach umbrella and cooler, and some beach toys for kids. KBM is GREAT to deal with—so responsive. I love the Mahana—low-key vibe with just the right amenities (pool, hot tub, lawn with chairs overlooking beach, beach and beach path access, shuffleboard, tennis/pickleball courts, easy parking. Grocery is close (3 minute drive). No restaurant/store on site, but you can walk to many nearby. Concierge for booking activities in lobby. Really comfortable quiet beautiful place to stay.

We watched sea turtles from the balcony all week and even caught a swimming mink seal! , The welcome chocolates on the table were a nice touch too. KBM team checked in on us via email during our stay, and quickly brought us more laundry detergent when we ran out (thank you!). Overall had a great stay!

This 12th Floor Penthouse End Unit was as lovely as you described it, with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and the islands of Lanai and Molokai; and "Thank You" for your welcoming gift of Chandon Champagne. We enjoyed it on New Years Eve after an order of "Hula Pie " from Duke's Beach House Restaurant. Your Cleaners had the unit looking good for us for an early 3 PM check in. Your property is well stocked this unit with nice cookware, kitchen utensils, glasses and dishes, as well as large beach towels and beach umbrellas. and even a boogie board. We enjoyed our stay. We did not hear any construction noise. I saw a workman one day and told him "I want you to know I haven't heard ANY noise from from your work." He laughed. I initially thought the guest bathroom had no hot water in the sink or shower, but I discovered that you have to leave the water on for two to five minutes before it gets hot. I especially appreciated your checking to make sure I had the correct unit code for the front door. I found you available to talk to anytime, even though it was during the Christmas/New York Holidays. Thank you for being there for us. We took very good care of the unit and left it in very good condition with dishes done, kitchen clean, garbage gone, towels in the shower, and sheets on the beds. We also left good food for the less advantaged. We like your program. Someone will get a nearly full Quart of New England Maple Syrup, bread, eggs, English Muffins, OJ, Guava Nectar, Dasani Water, Danish Creamery Butter, Imported Reggiano Parmagiana, and Mascapone, Whole Wheat Organic Spaghetti, nearly full pound of Organic Spaghetti, 1,/2 bottle Classico Italian Cheese Pasta Sauce etc. Happy New Year to you ! We look forward to your taking care of our next visit to Maui.

Took advantage of their free car rental program but upgraded to a jeep. We had superior accommodations for substantially less money than the neighboring resorts. Highly recommend.

Amazing vacation and I'm super impressed with the experience with KBM Resorts. From the rental car that was included, to the ease of checking in, everything was perfect. After our first night, my husband and I really wanted a few more pillows and I left a message with KBM but since this isn't a hotel, I really didn't expect this request to be fulfilled. But within a few hours, more pillows arrived. We stayed at Mahana 1211 and loved this unit. Breathtaking ocean views, nice furnishings, very well stocked and extremely clean! The location is perfect with the grocery store across the street and restaurants everywhere! The pool is smaller but we don't mind that. It's relatively quiet and that's what we prefer. Overall, this has been a top notch vacation and everything exceeded my expectations! Thank you KBM Hawaii! I will return and plan to rent from you again!
