Question 1

Where can I find vacation rentals in Maui with KBM Resorts?

Accepted Answer

KBM Resorts lists Maui vacation rentals at resorts and condo communities in Kaanapali, Kahana, Kapalua and Napili on West Maui, and in Wailea and Kihei on South Maui. The resort cards on this page show each community with its starting nightly rate, and the neighborhood links above take you to a page for each area. Select your dates and guests on any resort page to see the units available.

Question 2

How do I book a Maui vacation rental direct with KBM Resorts?

Accepted Answer

Choose a resort on this page, pick your dates and number of guests, and book directly on kbmresorts.com. Booking direct means you reserve with KBM Resorts rather than through a third-party booking site. KBM concierge is available to help with your stay, and Maui stays of 6 nights or more include a complimentary rental car.

Question 3

What are the best areas to stay in Maui?

Accepted Answer

Kaanapali and Kapalua on West Maui offer the finest resort-style luxury, anchored by world-class beaches like Ka'anapali Beach and Kapalua Bay. Wailea on South Maui is renowned for exceptionally calm turquoise waters, upscale dining, and the Wailea Beach Path. Napili and Kahana provide a quieter, boutique atmosphere perfect for snorkeling and sunsets. KBM Resorts manages premium properties across all three areas, so our concierge team can match you to the neighborhood that best fits your travel style. Browse by area to compare views, amenities, and walking distance to the beach. Book direct with KBM for the best rates and a complimentary rental car.

Question 4

When is the best time to visit Maui?

Accepted Answer

Maui offers excellent weather year-round, but April through May and September through November are widely considered the sweet spot. You get warm temperatures between 78 and 85 degrees, reduced crowds, and the best rates of the year. December through March is peak whale-watching season — humpback whales migrate to Maui's warm waters and are visible directly from many KBM oceanfront properties. Summer (June–August) is peak family season with calm ocean conditions ideal for snorkeling. If your priority is value combined with ideal beach weather, shoulder season (May or October) delivers the best combination. All KBM properties include concierge service to help plan your activities regardless of when you visit.

Question 5

Do KBM Maui vacation rentals include a rental car?

Accepted Answer

Yes — KBM Resorts includes a complimentary rental car on all Maui stays of 6 nights or more, and this is included in your rental rate at no extra charge. A car is not optional on Maui; it's essential for exploring the Road to Hana, watching sunrise from Haleakala National Park, visiting the Maui Ocean Center, and accessing beaches beyond the resort corridor. Most KBM properties provide dedicated parking. Shorter stays under 6 nights can add a car through our concierge team at preferred partner rates. When comparing vacation rental companies, the included car alone saves Maui visitors $60–$120 per day — a significant advantage of booking direct with KBM.

Question 6

What is included with a KBM Maui vacation rental?

Accepted Answer

Every KBM Maui vacation rental includes dedicated concierge service from booking through checkout, premium furnishings with resort-quality linens and towels, a fully equipped kitchen stocked with cookware and appliances, resort pool access, and beach access either directly from the property or steps away. Stays of 6 nights or more include a complimentary rental car. Your KBM concierge arranges activity bookings (snorkel tours, luaus, helicopters, surf lessons), pre-arrival grocery delivery, restaurant reservations, and special occasion setup. Properties at Honua Kai, Kapalua Bay Villas, and Wailea Beach Villas include on-site restaurants, fitness centers, and daily housekeeping options. There are no hidden resort fees — everything listed is included in your booking.

Question 7

How many bedrooms do KBM Maui rentals have?

Accepted Answer

KBM's Maui portfolio spans studio suites to 5-bedroom oceanfront residences, making it the most size-flexible luxury vacation rental company on the island. Studios and 1-bedroom condos are ideal for couples and solo travelers wanting resort amenities without the price of a hotel suite. Two-bedroom units sleep 4–6 guests and are the most popular choice for families and friend groups. Three-bedroom and larger homes provide the space and privacy of a private residence with the full KBM concierge service. For multi-generational groups or wedding parties, KBM can arrange adjacent unit bookings or multi-property packages at the same resort. Contact our concierge to find the right size for your group and dates.
