The condo is absolutely perfect and has the most gorgeous ocean views from all rooms! Well appointed and newly remodeled with a fully stocked kitchen, great books, beach toys, HUGE bathrooms and tubs, and really comfortable beds. Beautiful furniture and a dining room that feels like you're in a fish bowl surrounded by ocean views - two sets of binoculars were a nice touch. We walked to three amazing beaches (Kapalua, Napili and Onolea) for swimming, boogie boarding and snorkeling, and it's an easy walk (trails along the ocean) to the Montage, the Ritz, or Napili Kai resorts. Simply perfect.

We spent 9 days in December with 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 kids. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The photos online do not do the unit justice. The view is spectacular and the amenities of the suite leave noting to be desired. Having simple things here on arrival made things much easier for packing from dish soap and paper towels to beach towels, boogie boards and chairs. 5 minute walk to Oneloa Beach for great boogie boarding and a 10 minute walk to Kapalua Bay Beach for great snorkelling.

We had an amazing stay at unit 14b2. It has everything you could need and more. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped. The view from the patio and dining room absolutely beautiful. We watched whales breaching from the dining room window every morning (we brought binoculars), but could see them without. The bathrooms all very nice. It was only two of us but the unit great for a family as well. Great to have beach towels and chairs. Wonderful stay!!!!

This condo was perfect in every way for our five night stay in July 2019. It's beautifully updated, bright and sunny, has gorgeous sweeping ocean views, and feels very private. The beds were very comfortable, the a/c worked well, the kitchen had more than we needed, and every detail from beach towels, to beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards was included. It's a 90 second walk to the closest pool and an easy 5 minute walk to Oneloa beach, which was never crowded. We also strolled 15 minutes in each way to enjoy the beaches at Kapalua Bay and DT Fleming. The Kapalua Coastal Trail is beautiful. There are many good dining options within an easy walk or short drive - we loved the Sea House, Merrimans, the Honolua Store, and the Burger Shack at the Ritz. I loved the quiet, peaceful vibe of Kapalua and the Bay Villas. I would definitely book this beautiful condo again!

Truly blown away by KBM Resorts customer service

From our first contact with KBM Rentals I was truly blown away by their customer service and ease of making reservations. We were left with no accommodations for a three week wine vacation in Maui, because our original accommodations were canceled by the owner. I found KBM online and they were the answer we needed. Well the rental was more expensive than we had planned they had available for three weeks and the booking took Only a few minutes. When we arrived we were shocked at how beautiful this villa really is. The pictures do not do it justice. Everything was in perfect working order and spotlessly clean. Not only that, KBM is literally available 24 seven and brought us everything we needed to restock. Because we were here three weeks I asked for a vacuum cleaner and mop which was delivered to my front door brand new never used. I will not hesitate to get with a company again!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was our first experience with VRBO and it won?t be our last. We have always stayed at the top hotels while in Maui, but decided to give this condo a try. It was an amazing place to return to each day and exceeded our hotel experiences. The space that we had for our family, the 3 huge bathrooms, the kitchen, large dining room, and the 3 beautiful lanais were all incredible. Our beds were very comfortable and the convenient parking exceeded our expectations. Our girls were able to visit several beautiful beaches within walking distance, as well. We could not have enjoyed our time any more!

Simply a wonderful stay with gorgeous views of Molokai and the Kapalua area. Very close to the Montage and the coastal trail, also the Ritz Carlton is about a 20 minute walk away. The unit itself is very nice, great bed in the primary bedroom, all appliances worked well. We stayed out on the lanai in the mornings with our coffee and juice and read and just watched the ocean, very nice trade winds. Unit is in great shape, would stay here again! The pre arrival information was great and so was the contact with the property management group when we were there. Highly recommend KBM Hawaii

The unit exceeds our expectations. It has all the amenities we need, the kitchen is well stocked, just need to buy sugar and oil. There are tons of towels available to use - both beach and bath towels are supplied. The bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, and soap for us to use. The beds are very comfortable. We all felt very relaxed looking at the ocean from the living room and bedrooms, the outdoor patio area is a great sanctuary. It is very close to the Bay Course of the Kapalua Golf Club and is ideal for golfers to stay here. All in all, the place is idyllic, far from the madding crowd.

We had a wonderful week at Kapalua Bay Villa 14G4. The patio furniture was wonderful as we ate breakfast outside each morning (gorgeous views of the ocean), and used the lounge chairs each afternoon. Everything was in great working order with the exception of a broken dishwasher and warm master bedroom AC. For those reasons, I would give this unit a 4.5 if possible.

Kapalua Bay Villas are a treasure! The architecture and landscaping make each villa incredibly private. It is a wonderful alternative to the Wailea area. Very much enjoyed our stay in 14-G4. Unit is very nice. Owners have thought of everything you could need. Beds are very comfortable and internet is super strong. Two things that need attention: there is a governor on the master bedroom air conditioner that needs to be removed. It would not allow us to turn air down from 75. That’s too hot for us and it was uncomfortable trying to sleep at night, even with the ceiling fan at full. Second: kitchen faucet needs to be looked at and adjusted.

Superb venue for multi-generational vacation. Highlights include: 1. Great range of walkable restaurant options 2. Adventurous choices in beaches and rocky tide pools accessible along the Kapalua Trail. 3. During our 8 night stay, we took advantage of nearby world class golf, horseback riding, snorkeling boat tour, elevated spa experience, boogie boarding and wilderness hiking. 4. Unit 14 G-4 comfortably accommodated 5 adults and 2 small children. 3 full bathrooms was huge. Kitchen was fully equipped and used to prepare meals / snacks everyday. 5. Ground floor unit allowed for large area for the grandkids to play, close vicinity to one of the 3 pools and excellent BBQ area. FYI Costco and Safeway carry a nice selection of steaks. We’ve been coming to Maui for over 30 years and have always stayed in Lahaina or Kaanapali. But with the fire redevelopment still underway, the concession was to try a stay in Kapalua, which provided a much different environment. Day trips to Hana and Haleakala have long been traditions, but plans changed once it was found that all out days could easily be filled with new activities located within walking distance (or a 10 minute car ride). The only downside was the unpredictable weather; everyday had periods of high winds and short bursts of rain. More than we’ve typically seen during stays closer to Lahaina. From the moment we walked into our Kapalua Bay Villas unit, we knew we were in for a special few days. The views were absolutely breathtaking—panoramic ocean vistas right from the living area—and the outdoor space felt like a private slice of paradise. If you're pool people, you're in luck—it’s less than a one-minute stroll to the pool, and just a 3–4 minute walk down to the beach once you figure out the walking paths. The stay was fantastic overall. The villa, the location, and the surroundings made for an unforgettable trip. There were so many beautiful places within a 5 minute drive and we loved the shopping center at Napili Plaza. We could eat ahi for days! We're already planning our next visit—this time with more family in tow!

Paradise Found - exceptional stay at KBV-14G4

My family stayed at Kapalua Bay Villas, KBV-14G4 in August 2025 for one week and it was truly one of the most memorable vacation experiences I’ve had on Maui. The villa is beautifully situated above Oneloa Bay, offering stunning panoramic views of the ocean from all rooms and lanais facing the ocean. The unit itself was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, if only it was easy to copy and paste the style here to my own home! There is plenty of space, indoors and outdoors, providing our family of four, including two grown children and their friend enough room to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for preparing meals, and having in-unit laundry was a huge bonus to go home with clean clothes after our amazing vacation. The air-conditioning worked great (though the breeze in the evening often made it unnecessary), beds were so comfortable - we all slept so soundly through the nights! The location is really what sets this unit apart. Being steps away from the Kapalua Coastal Trail, making for beautiful morning walks, within walking distance to several beaches, including Kapalua Bay for snorkeling straight from the beach and DT Fleming. The property grounds are beautifully maintained with polite grounds staff that wave as they drive around in their carts. With access to three pools on site we only made it to one of the pools, which was quiet and so enjoyable at the end of the evening. We used the BBQ area for dinner and the view while grilling was just top notch. We grilled while the rest of the family lounged in the pool. Being on the ground floor you have easy access to walk over to the pool which is quite literally steps away but you might occasionally hear guests above or conversing on their lanai. Guests near us were kind and respectful, and the layout of the units afforded privacy with walls of foliage and fencing on each lanai. Lovely to watch the many birds and geckos come through! Overall amazing environment over a hotel where you’re stacked. You definitely won’t be disappointed. Perfect for couples or families looking to relax. Overall, this unit exceeded my expectations. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene, scenic, and luxurious escape in West Maui.

Beach access was great and walkable. The surrounding area was quiet and peaceful. Added bonus was watching whales in the ocean from the comfort of the patio. Would definitely book here again.

If you want to go on vacation but don’t want to stay at a busy resort or in the middle of nowhere, KBM rentals are a fantastic option. It was very easy to check in and check out, and best of all you get free parking which not a lot of hotels offer in Maui.

We have stayed around this area many times, but not actually in the Kapalua Bay Villas. We were so pleasantly surprised! It was such a nice complex. Quiet, great location, gated. The views were amazing! The amenities were great! And the location to the Kapalua Coastal Trail was fantastic! It was easy access to several of our favorite restaurants! We will definitely stay here in the future.

We have stayed multiple times in different Bay Villas and this stay did not disappoint. We enjoy having some more space and the option to cook dinner compared to a hotel room. This unit was quiet, safe and clean; it could use a few more kitchen tools and staples but this wasn’t a big problem. Washing machine and dryer worked well. Bed overall comfortable. Ceiling fans help generate a nice breeze throughout. Parking was easy. Nice walking options to rest of Kapalua and Merriman’s. We will certainly return to the property and would consider this unit again.
