Papakea PKD-104/PKE-304

Last year my husband and I visited and fell in love with the Papakea Resort and we ended up purchasing the 1 bedroom condominium (D104) to offer as a short term rental. We worked with a wonderful contractor to do a complete refresh with new appliances, carpeting, and furnishings.

Great place. Super clean.

This was a business trip for two of my employees. We provide home automation. The Papakea is amazing whether its for vacation, work, or both. The grounds are beautiful, its across the street from the best restaurant in Maui (Java Jazz), and whales right off the beach. The condo was perfect. Plenty of space for each of my guys, and nature’s perfection right outside the door. ***Screw the corporate resorts. Stay at this place. Its amazing. Especially the local Maui vibe.

This place was a gem! Perfect location to see the whole resort and the ocean! They provided beach towels, chairs and sand toys. My lil one was thrilled. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and kitchen ware. Both TVs were easy to use. Laundry was easy. Definitely recommend! ABC Store next door and lots of eateries nearby.

We have stayed at Papakea many times over the years. This unit though is the most beautiful of all! The renovation was perfectly done and every amenity you could think of was provided. Being able to do laundry, BBQ and a fully stocked kitchen where we could cook made it easy to feel at home. This unit is perfectly situated where the patio is never in full sun and you can sit and enjoy the smell of the salt air and the relaxing sounds of the koi pond waterfalls. KBM did not interrupt or interfere during the trip at all but made themselves available 24/7, should you need them. When we arrived it was very clean and had a nice fresh, clean smell. The lights were on which was welcoming and made you feel right at home. Papakea grounds are impeccably maintained and serene. A grocery store, Farmers Market, ABC Store, several restaurants and food trucks were all within walking distance. We very much enjoyed celebrating our 30 year wedding anniversary here and plan to come back next year to this very same unit!

The place was excellent! Beautiful and well equipped little condo with great access to the beach.

The resort as a whole is clean, well maintained, friendly staff and great communication. The unit was clean, it was warm and there was a little welcome kit. We did not have any issues. Ideal location, walking distance from a shopping center and food trucks. We loved it! Definitely staying here again.

This home is in a great location. The lower level offers an immediate extension of your living space with direct access to all amenities without the trouble of stairs or an elevator! This unit was equipped with all the necessities and in great shape with nice updates! Would definitely stay here again. Mahalo!

Thank you for sharing your home with us! We enjoyed every bit of our vacation. The place is kept very well and the location is superb. Close to grocery stores and restaurants, and a short drive to beautiful beaches (or walk if you want to visit the resort right next door). The ground floor makes the outdoor space seem as if it’s an extension of your home. Would absolutely stay here again.

The property is right on the ocean, many rooms with views but this one has a view of the coy pond. This unit is closer to the parking area, tennis courts, reception and exit. Well maintained grounds with tiki torches at night. Reception was easy and pleasant. Condo is better than description, nice added touch was staples such as salt, coffee filters, and beach chairs.

Our condo was perfect!! We loved all the amenities included. The location was great! The ABC store within walking distance with a private gate entrance was super convenient. We would definitely stay here again!! Mahalo!!

D104 was a perfect condo for us both. ABC Shop close by for groceries, a lovely view of the koi pond, We really enjoyed our time there. No plans to return for another holiday to Maui as we both turn 82yrs in 4 weeks. Thank you for everything.

Perfect little condo with all the nice touches.

We have stayed at Papakea three times and enjoy the well kept grounds, pool hot tub and BBQ facilities, nearby walking access to groceries and restaurants and the beach boardwalk. The unit was as described, well furnished, comfortable and a n all day shaded lanai with beautiful garden and pond proximity and ocean visibility. A great two weeks and we certainly plan to return.

From day one it was an amazing experience; the place is pretty cool! Pools; hot tub; is an amazing place and the unit was awesome, lean and with everything that we needed. Thank you for such an amazing experience!!!

We spent 10 days at Papakea D104. The condo was perfect. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The location is perfect. We weren't right on the beach but we were close enough. The grounds were very well manicured and well taken care of. I would absolutely stay in this condo again.

Great time in a clean and relaxing condo that looked out to the garden . A perfect place to stay, nice and quiet atmosphere . Definitely would stay in this same unit again.

Everything was absolutely perfect upon arrival, after planning a wedding, all you want to do is relax and that’s exactly what we were able to do with staying at Papakea D104. It was extremely clean and so easy to check in. They were super responsive and even had a little welcome basket for us! We will definitely be back!

Perfect place to stay, away from the maddening crowds, beautiful ocean views, great barbecues by the pool, plenty of lounge chairs by the beach wall…a very relaxing atmosphere.. This unit was perfect, and would stay in this unit again..

We loved our stay at Papakea D104, and will absolutely rent again. The condo itself is well appointed. For the beach, had 4 chairs and a small cooler (although I'd probably bring your own soft cooler if you're planning on taking it for more than a few hours.) a few toys and noodles that we didn't use were also available. It had all the basics like starter toilet paper and paper towels (more than we needed for a week,) cooking oil/salt/pepper, and coffee filters. The pull out couch was very comfortable which was a pleasant surprise. Thursday was a fun mai tai party and we enjoyed meeting other guests. We were mostly at nearby beaches and didn't end up spending time at the pool or hot tubs, but the grounds of the resort are lovely. The small beach that you can access to the left of the resort (5 minute walk to the left of the resort over a bridge) was uncrowded and a decent spot for relaxing when we weren't in the mood to find beach parking elsewhere. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely return, the unit was great!

Its a perfect resorts place to stay. They provided us with everything on mind. They had Pods to use for laundry and dishwashing ( separate containers). Beach Towels and beach chairs that we used, a cooler, snack! The place is clutter free. Very near to supermarkets, Food trucks within walkable distance, and the sand beach is about 6 mins ride from the resort. They have two swimming pools and two jaccuzis. We certainly had so much fun. The resort has a concierge that will assist you with a Tour plan in the main office! We took the Road to Hana package and its worth all the money. Check in and check out was a breeze. TV, Cable, and air conditioning were all functioning optimally as well! Its a 110% satisfaction for me

Normally don’t write reviews but this place was great. Lovely location, lovely fully stocked kitchen, more than i thought would be provided. I particularly loved the list of recommended location be it restaurants or beaches. We had a lovely time here.

We loved our stay at this beautiful resort! The condo was very nice. We liked being on the ground floor and able to walk right out onto the grounds. We made use of the pool, putting greens, shuffle board, bag toss, cabana, and loungers by the seawall. Lovely property!

If we could give KBM higher than 5 stars we would!!! Would a wonderful experience!! From start to finish. Everything was perfect!! The condo had everything for us. Very easy to check in and check out. Everything was there for us!! Thank you so much!!

We had a wonderful time staying in unit D104 at Papakea. The location was wonderful on the first floor next to the gardens and where we could hear the ocean waves in the background. It was easy to walk out of our unit to go sit out on the chairs by the water, or walk along the grass to the beach. While there were many people staying at the resort, it still felt private and not crowded with plenty of room outdoors and beach chairs that don't require reserving or an addition fee. The unit itself was well furnished with plenty of dishes cookware and cooking utensils. The maintenance staff was excellent and provided us with a handheld shower head and shower chair that we needed. The front desk staff was also very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we are already back again at Papakea in another unit.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Papakea Resort Unit D104 and it was truly an incredible experience from start to finish! This newly remodeled ground-floor condo is absolutely stunning—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing vacation. The fully appointed kitchen made it easy to enjoy meals at home and the washer/dryer was a huge plus for keeping up with laundry during our stay. We especially appreciated the beach chairs, cooler, and other extras that made our beach days even more enjoyable. Small touches such as providing golf clubs to use at Papakea's putting green made our trip extra special. The ground-floor location was perfect and just steps from the beautiful lawn, koi pond, and easy access to the oceanfront without having to deal with stairs or elevators. Papakea Resort itself is a gem: peaceful, well-maintained, and ideally located near great restaurants, shopping, and beaches. We loved relaxing by the pool, walking along the oceanfront paths, playing pickle ball and soaking in the beautiful Maui sunsets. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend D104 to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and well-equipped home base in paradise!

We had an unforgettable stay at Papakea Resort, Unit D104! This condo exceeded all our expectations ...it’s newly renovated, beautifully designed, and truly feels like a home away from home. Being on the ground floor was a huge bonus where we could walk right out onto the lawn and enjoy our morning coffee on the lanai with ocean breezes and tropical views. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and having a washer and dryer in the unit was so convenient. It’s clear that the owners have thought of every detail from the comfortable beach chairs and cooler to little touches throughout the condo that made our stay feel easy and relaxing. Papakea is such a well-kept and peaceful resort. We loved the pools, hot tubs, tennis and pickle ball courts, and beautiful walking paths. The location is ideal: close to beaches, grocery stores, food trucks and restaurants, but still quiet and serene. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend D104 to anyone looking for an upscale, well-equipped, and relaxing place to stay in Maui.

The space was very nice and clean. The resort area was great. They have access to a small beach, a couple pools and hot tubs that are hot!

We always stay in E304. It's an updated studio with class! Kitchen is stocked, bathroom is roomy with plenty of storage and sand chairs are ready for the beach! Having a washer/dryer is so convenient....

It was just my husband and I so it was just right for the two of us. The view was great we could see whales right from the room. We would book it again. Thank you

The pictures didn't do this justice! The Papakea grounds are pristine, unit was perfect!! We had everything we needed for our beach days from snorkel gear to a small cooler, and beach chairs!!

We had a wonderful stay, the view was amazing, you can hear the waves crashing and the bed is very comfortable! The sunsets are incredible. The pool areas are well maintained (spa is 10/10)!

My family stayed in this lovely studio for a week. We enjoyed the property and the convenient location. We loved the balcony view of the pool, palm trees, and ocean. My husband and I could watch our preteen boys in the pool from the balcony. We thought the studio was very clean and nicely furnished. We loved having a kitchen to make breakfast and other meals. Our experience was wonderful and we would recommend this property without hesitation.

Our stay at Papakea E-304 was perfect! Check-in was a breeze and the unit was wonderfully clean, nicely designed, well-stocked, and comfortable. We had everything we could have wanted to prepare our meals and we enjoyed the beautiful pool, garden, and ocean views from the balcony. We would love to return for a future stay!

The view from the lanai is gorgeous and the bed was very comfortable. The washer and dryer worked great and was so nice to have after a day at the beach.

The moment my husband and I stepped onto the Papakea Oceanfront Resort, we looked at each other, as my husband stated, “the grounds are beautifully maintained.” We felt a peace we haven’t felt for quite sometime. As we opened the door of our condo the peaceful atmosphere kicked into another dimension. A beautiful warmth I couldn’t quite put my finger on. Home. I felt at home in a peaceful paradise. Everything we needed was provided from the kitchen to the boogie boards. Super comfortable bed. The view of the ocean from our third floor lanai was fantastic. To hear the waves rolling, tiki lights each evening, bbq’s around the pool area if one chose, amazingly well thought out. Even played cards one evening in the pavilion overlooking the ocean while watching the beautiful sunset go down. Loved every moment of our weeks stay in our gorgeous E304 studio. Most definitely will come back. The property manager we went through was super thorough. Thank you to all who make Papakea so special.
