Beautiful resort and outstanding accommodations! Friendly staff and great communication!

My family of 5 just returned from 12 days in Maui, we were very happy with our condo during the entire vacation. The space allowed us to spread out after long sun-soaked days, and the wrapped lanai provided beautiful views of the Pacific and the resort property. Perfect for enjoying a morning coffee with the waves and breeze, and capturing sunsets on the horizon. Honua Kai is located in a great spot where you can enjoy the beach and still walk to local amenities. The one minor knock on the resort is the lack of pool chairs as compared to other resorts we have vacationed at previously. Just plan to arrive at the pool very early. Outside of that a great experience.

My wife and I came up with about 25 other couples that most have retired or are retiring. My Brother and his wife stayed with us in your 2 bedroom. My brother and I recently lost our Mom to cancer last November and my wife just lost her Mother to Alzheimer’s a couple months back. So this was a much needed break for all of us. The place was beautiful and we totally loved every second of our time there. We are planning on going back up next year this time with My kids and grandkids! So we will be in the planning stages soon! Need to look into possibly getting 2- 3 bedrooms and possibly another 2 bedroom. Anyway thank you so very much. I felt my Mom with me the whole time especially watching the Sunset

HKG-609 is an amazing unit, with an extra large wrap around patio. This unit has one of the best views available for sunset! The unit was clean and had plenty of cooking pots/pans and utensils for us to use. The beach chairs, umbrellas and small cooler made staying down at the beach a real treat.

We had a great experience overall. We have stayed at Honua Kai several times in the pas t and always enjoy it. This was no exception. We feel so comfortable at this resort! This time was no exception. The unit was wonderful! Well appointed and clean. The check-in process was quick and efficient, even thought we got there pretty late at night. KBM communicated all the information we needed very efficiently with easy to understand w-mails and text messages.

We loved the views from our unit and the easy access to the pools and beach. Helpful to have things for our toddler like pack n play, booster seat and sand toys. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

We loved our time at Honua Kai. Room 609 was beautiful. The view was spectacular and the large wrap around deck had plenty of space to relax, eat and let the little ones play. The room was missing a few things like oven mitts and one of the bathrooms shower doors didn’t close properly. So it does need a bit of fixing. But overall lots of inside space. We will definitely be back!

We had an excellent time in Maui. KBM was always very responsive in answering the phone and their follow was excellent too. We will be staying with KBM Resorts the next time we are in Maui.

Enjoyed a wonderful stay in this condo. Beautiful location with a fantastic ocean view with great sunsets. Duke’s restaurant is super convenient. Nice pools and grounds. Beach chairs provided with a cooler and other water stuff. KBM staff was responsive.

The resort and accommodations were amazing!

It's a beautiful suite with excellent views of the ocean and grounds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Dukes was wonderful as well, yet tough to get a diner reservation at times. The Star Noodle was an excellent choice for a night out. We also relied on the local fish market to dine in. This particular place was the "Bomb" for a great take-out meal. Honokowai Okazuya Deli. So, there you have it!

We recently stayed in unit HKH-609 for our 20th anniversary. We booked this unit based on the photos provided, and it did not disappoint. It is great unit with a stunning view of the resort, beach, and ocean. We would just sit there in the morning taking in the beauty and watching people surf. The staff at KBM Resorts were excellent in their communication. When we did have one issue (a couple of burnt out lights), they were very responsive and fixed them within a few hours. We would definitely consider booking this unit and with KBM Resorts again.

Our family met at the Maui Honua Kai KBM resort to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We stayed in four different units in the same tower. Our room was perfect for the family to gather in for breakfast and dinner. The kitchen was well appointed and was open concept so the cooks were not cut off from the rest of the family. Our view was absolutely stunning. The pools and hot tubs were wonderful. Auntie K went down the water slide with all the nieces and nephew. It was very handy to have Duke’s right there as well for adult beverages and food service when we didn’t want to cook in. There is also a grocery store and small strip mall across the street which was very handy. There were food trucks adjacent to the resort. The resort was nice and quiet but close enough to the Whalers Village for additional dining options or more shopping opportunities. Over all this was a fabulous experience for the whole family. Big thank you to the KBM resort and their hardworking staff members.

We had a great week at this unit. The resort itself was fantastic with great beach access, multiple pools and hot tubs in a family friendly environment. The view from the large wrap around balcony was amazing and all of the furnishings were very nice. It was great to have the washer and dryer in the unit which allowed us to pack light for the vacation. We highly recommend this unit.

KBM was great! We are on Maui twice a year. We will continue to use then for our trips. They are thorough and very customer service oriented. I have already referred then to a family member who is booking their first trip to Maui.

The unit was exactly as the pictures and description portrayed. I felt this unit was a very good value for what you get and it was clean and well stocked for our arrival. KBM did a good job of getting us ready for our trip and sent a link for us to pre-book activities we wanted to do. Having the rental car thrown in with the reservation was an added bonus as it was one less thing we had to deal with. The grounds of the hotel were very nice and well manicured. The pools are nice and they seem to have something for everyone, even a "quiet" pool area. Dukes restaurant has good food albeit pricey as are most beachside restaurants.

Booking was very easy and communication was great. Everything was as expected.

Our stay at Honua Kai was great! Unit 620 was perfect for our family. This two bedroom suite was clean and stocked with beach towels, beach toys, a pack-n-play, and many other baby items. The views were outstanding. We look forward to coming back again.

The unit is beautiful, spacious, and modern with a view of the ocean from the very large deck.There are pool and beach items available for our use which was very helpful.

We stayed at Honua Kai through a different management co our last visit to Maui and KBM surpassed all service levels we experienced before. We will be booking through KBM our next trip!

Very easy to work with and all directions for the unit were clearly communicated. Unit was perfect for 2 couples and fully stocked with towels, beach items (chairs, umbrellas, etc) and kitchen appliances. We will definitely be using KBM Resort again!

Great experience. Our Condo was as advertised. Clean & beautiful with awesome large lanai. Resort was wonderful from valet to coffee shop, on site restaurants pools & easy walk to beach & water in front of units. Unit came equipped with beach chairs umbrella ice chest all very useful during our stay. Overall Great experience & enjoyable stay.

Great experience going through KBM - beautiful accommodations!

Our stay at Honua Kai was exceptional! The condo was beautiful and had the best views. The rooms were in great condition and it came with everything we needed to cook or go the beach. The property had multiple pools and hot tubs and was also right on the beach which made it very convenient. The location was also very convenient with restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Maui!

This was our second time at unit 620 and Honua Kai in the Hokulani tower and it was fantastic. We called in because we ran out of dish and clothing detergent and KBM had it delivered that same day. We also had a small mechanical issue with our glass door in the master shower and again KBM had their technical guy out the same day and fixed the issue while we had fun with our kids at the amazing pools. Great time 5 stars!

Booking through KBM is such a pleasure! Maria and her team were always responsive and thorough even when we added a rollaway bed mid stay it was there almost immediately after our call. The unit we rented 620H was perfectly clean and stocked with everything you need to cook, clean & do laundry. Tommy Bahama beach accessories including an umbrella were awesome. The local made fudge treats were a nice touch. Highly recommend KBM for booking a vacation rental!

Busy but always wonderful!!

We had two couples in unit 620. The big corner condo with breathtaking views of the mountains and the ocean were incredible!!! The large patio was so nice for dining outside and relaxing with our morning coffee. We had plenty of amenities. We used the grills downstairs one night which are cleaned daily. Go to the local fish market for something fresh to grill! Highly recommend this resort!!! 30 minute walk to whalers village. 10 minute walk to black rock/Sheraton. If you see an açaí bowl vendor under the white tents on the boardwalk, definitely stop! Best ones on the island.

We experienced a very seamless stay at Honua Kai in Maui. KBM Resorts communication was great while making our reservations online. KBM also sent texts and emails detailing check-in and check out information. We will use KBM in the future on our next visit to Maui.

We had a great experience booking a unit at Honua Kai through KBM. The property is centrally located, and KBM's booking process was simple and straightforward. A maintenance issue came up during our stay and KBM had it solved the same day. Their communication with us was terrific throughout the booking process, during our stay, and afterwards.

First time at honua kai and 3rd time in Maui- this was by far the best resort we’ve stayed at. It was the best of both worlds: condo freedom with a full kitchen, modern living situation, lots of space + resort thrills with manicured spaces, amazing pools, direct beach access, and poolside bar services. We plan to stay here every time we come to Maui from now on

My wife and I stayed at the Honua Kai resort in a two bedroom unit. The accommodations were perfect for our family of five. The room was clean and well stocked. Our view of the ocean and the mountains was perfect. The grounds of the resort were well maintained and clean. There were several pools to choose from and the beach was just a few feet past the pools. The restaurant and bar on the grounds was sufficient but could have had a more extensive menu. There was a washer and dryer in the room if you needed it. Great choice for a family.

My family and I all stayed at the resort and had a fantastic experience. I stayed in HKH 648 and it was beautiful . Everything is very convenient, the check in and check out process is very organized and easy . The view from our lanai was gorgeous , it was great to host family meals and plenty of room for our large group. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back here !

We loved every minute at this resort! The rooms were very nice and spacious. Pools were amazing. Can walk right out to the beach! Definitely would stay here again!

The Honua Kai Resort, and Spa in conjunction with KBM resorts once again provided my wife and I an amazing respite from the crazy world. Our unit was clean with very comfortable furniture and bedding! Well equipped kitchen made meal preparation easy. The large lanai with amazing views of the ocean made for the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee, after beach breezes & evening relaxation! The staff at KBM were SO pleasant, professional and easy to work with easy and prompt communication before, during and after our stay. The one minor issue we had was addressed & rectified almost immediately. This was our 4th or 5th stay at the Honua Kai, and we will be back!

My stay an Honua Kai HKH 648 could not have been any better. KBM did an excellent job informing me every step of the way. Any questions I had via email were answered very quickly. The condo was very nice and well equipped. I will definitely use them on my next trip to the islands.

Wonderful and spacious for our group of 5. No issues, prompt service, and the resort has so much for the kids! Slide and “lazy river” were our kids’ favorites. Loved walking to whalers village!
